This professor makes life more complicated than what it needs to be. He teaches Computer Science yet he doesn't even know how to use Blackboard effectively. He doesn't answer your questions directly and since he is NOT clear on his deadlines and/or assignment instructions you can possibly miss them! He shouldn't be allowed to teach online ever!!!

The WORST Professor EVER!! I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy!! Makes the class more complicated than it really is. His instructions are NOT CLEAR and when you go to ask a question he makes you feel stupid and doesn't answer your question and tells you to go to tutoring!!! So if you wanna make you life living hell pick Professor Yip!!

he is horrible at explaining, very boring & doesn't seem to know what he's doing. I've only had him for 2 weeks but i can tell this is going to be one of those classes you dread going to. & to whom ever that said, only the people that don't do the work think he is "bad" or something along these lines. I have a high GPA but his lectures still suck

He is the best professor, if you want to learn the subject. He teaches classes to prepare students for the real world. He grades fairly. You will have to do two groups and indubitable project for his class. I would recommend you to choose right group members and you will be fine. People who say bad about him, they don't want to learn.

A lot of negative comments about Professor Yip but I assume that they are people who don't want to put in the work necessary to succeed which is common for most CC students . I have the opposite opinion of most of the PCCC students about the teachers but keep this in mind I was in part of the 8% that actually graduated and moved on to NJIT.

Disorganized in class. First homework assignment more than half the class had questions. Everything is confusing and doesn't have to be. Boring, monotone lectures. Not helpful, very vague teacher. Avoid this teacher if you can. He is out the class immediately on-time before the student and doesn't make time for questions.
