I really liked his lecture. He put up picture, played movies, lots of easy to understand charts (that he drew himself), lots of in class example (rocks ect.) and he is funny too. I really liked him! Sit in the front, its best.

Awesome teacher. Makes geology interesting & easy to learn. You do need to study for his exams though, especially read over the notes you took during class. He uses clicker questions for attendance. Homework assignments aren't too difficult but they have nothing to do with the exams & are tidious. I would recommend him though!

i slept through one of my exams, he emailed me and let me retake it a week later. great guy, great teacher. you can see his passion about what he teaches. he's funny, can be boring...his exams are challenging DONT SKIP CLASS, he gives info during lecture thats on the test that isn't on the power points that are given to you online.

He is a great professor. He is a pretty funny guy and explains concepts very well. It is a relatively easy class too. He also gives some extra information in lectures that aren't in the notes, but are on the tests. I definitely recommend him.

Awesome Professor, really in to what he teaches always willing to help you. His jokes a lot but that doesn't mean you can slack. Classes and labs are fun but the test can be hard if you don't study. Attendance is never mandatory but if you don't go you will regret it.

Has a great sense of humor and explains lessons well using both visual aids and powerpoint for his lessons. the labs aren't too hard, but the tests are extremely hard. Study guides help, but in this case, they weren't enough to get a decent grade. Overall it's a good class, but you have to be willing to work for your grade.

The tests are pretty hard but if you go online and print off the study guides they are SUPER easy. He's a very hilarious and fun professor that is truly in love with rocks!!! Classes are good to attend. He gives you extra "stuff" needed to know on the test

Great guy and was willing to take extra time to help catch me up in some labs i missed. He is very understanding and a fair grader. If you show up to most lectures and all labs you shouldnt have any prolems with him. Plus his jokes are hilarious!!! and you get to go to Underwater World!!!

Yes i know make up exams are at the professor's descression but the one day i miss (wasnt my fault) he threatens to not allow me to make up the exam. His exams were overly difficult for the course, its a gen ed geology class and his exams are very difficult and the homework fails to prepare you for them..easy homework , impossible exams..AVOID!!

Tests are hard but if you know the study guide and use the sample questions he gives you should do fine. I honestly didnt read one page out of the book and got an A but in order to do this you must show up for class. Over all not to bad. Plus HW is way easy!!

AVOID!!! if you dont avoid his class he will avoid you. NEVER at his office during office hours. Exams are WAY to difficult for a general ed class, he hates writing exams maybe he uses the same exams for geo 101 as he uses for geo 5,000,000. Homework is busy work, i learned more about geology from the simpsons than i did his homework

This is a Gen ed class, why are the tests so hard. Most of the assignments are just busy work, but the tests are designed for Geology majors, This professor goes way too in depth for gen ed. The tests kick everyone's butt
