Great personality. Specializes in funk. Specific, blunt, and helpful feedback. Focuses on holding down a groove, and incorporating fills fluidly. Very focused, and always has exercises and transcriptions in mind for you to work on. You'll do one of each every week. Highly recommend, he improved my playing and motivated me a lot.

Took him for labs and PI and found myself getting significantly better. Tough but extremely helpful. His stories are very honest and inspiring and he has a great laugh. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to master their groove playing.

Best teacher in the bass dept. and killer bass player. He emphasizes your weak points and pushes you to fix it. Great funk transcriptions. If you like funk, work hard and practice you'll love him. Even if I'm an experienced player after 2 semesters with him I feel I totally improved my sound and time feel and my overall bass playing as well.

This guy is the man. Great player, great teacher, and a good person. He likes to tell it like it is, and it makes everyone a better player. He's got a killer feel and great slap chops. He also plays a beautiful fender (with an american flag on it).

The best E Bass teacher in Berklee. Super Clear, incredibly professional and demands nothing but the best from you. A little non-politicly-correct, but tells you the truth and doesn't mess around. I recommend highly of him.

Anthony is great. Tough But killing. A Monster player and a great teacher. I've been a pro bassist for 14 years since I left Berklee and in all my years I haven't met a better teacher. We worked off of his transcriptions of master bassists and I still enjoy looking back over those lessons.

The best electric bass teacher in berklee. He's real, teaches you what you need and not just random stuff he knows, very clear and demands perfection. Not very easy, but that's how is should be, and it contributes a whole lot to your playing.

Very nice, extremely helpful - if you can get him, do so. He's tough, demanding but you'll learn and retain it - you'll be a better player regardless. Great work ethic.

Vitti is the man! As a bass player, he improved my groove tenfold. Assigns some transcriptions, a lot of playing homework, but he has an amazing ear and will always point you the right direction for improving your playing. Very rigid on slap technique, but he is the slap instructor at Berklee..

Just another slap-bassists cluttering up the bass department. His tone is stuck in the 80's (auto-wah...seriously?), and he's a tasteless slapper. I don't know how these people get hired for teaching bass when they don't know how to support a song without trying to steal the spotlight. Take Danny Mo instead.

Fantastic bass teacher. If u want to learn how to be an actual BASS player - how to be solid, clean, consistant and groove well then take Anthony. If u want to learn how to play solos like Matt Garrison, that's not what Anthony is about. He will be pretty intense and will scrutinise ur bass playing v. hard but he will make u a much better player.

One of the most inspiring Bass teachers I've had. He's a rock solid electric player who puts a lot more emphasis on technique, feel, and rhythm than he does on learning every note. Can be a bit hard on students, but it's only because he cares so much about helping you improve. My slap technique has gotten 1000x better. hip hop lab is mostly lecture

so much of berklee is all about flash and technical stuff and what you can play, but vitti really keeps it real as far as what you need to become an honest to goodness solid bass player. Will actually focus on your feel and sound and HOW you're playing the music, rather than WHAT you're playing. Very highly reccommended
