Oscar Stagnaro is an incredible professor I have been taking his class for 1 year and half and he always have something new to teach. He is a really humble person and always is willing to help you to increase your level. I highly recommend him if you want to lear every type of music.

Oscar is the man. He is a sick player and a great teacher. On top of that, hes an overall great guy. Always willing to make up time for when hes on tour. Truly cares about his students and the development of their skills. Highly reccomended.

Fantastic bass teacher! Plays and knows his Latin stuff inside and out. Gives plenty of good homework and really moves fast so you need to keep up. His book is a must for any bassist! Take him if you can.

Oscar is probably the best teacher I've had at Berklee. In Latin Jazz Ensemble he taught the whole band about the rhythms and the styles, took time to work with people individually, made me a much better bassist. He's a very nice guy, you have to work hard. Take ANYTHING you can with Oscar.

Oscar is a laid back bass badass. He knows his stuff when it comes to any latin music, but doesnt really take charge of the rehersal all too much. I totally recommend him if you want to learn latin music or just chill out.
