Being new to tap, I am very glad I took her course. The first day hearing all the crazy terminology was a bit overwhelming, but with time I feel like a pro! There's definitely a learning curve, so make sure to pay close attention to every detail.

Coye is a great teacher with alot of experience and knowledge in tap dance and music (she is a jazz musician too). She is funny, hardworking and loves her students who care about the class. I highly reccomend giving her class a try!

She was a great teacher. She was sweet and would help when needed. Attendance is needed for grade but you can make up in other classes. The work is easy just need to know the terminology. If you want to sweat this isn't really the class. However, I would take her again.

She doesn't show the breakdown of any steps. She doesn't really TEACH. She just shows the steps then expects you to do it. For a beginner it is practically impossible to learn anything. I ended up teaching a couple girls on the side during class and they got more out of what I was telling them than anything the teacher said or did!

She's really nice and sweet. easy to fallow along... she has her own dance studio on haven which provides many styles of dances.. recommended for art! Tap is really fun if you try!! =]
