Comment:

She's really nice! Easygoing when it comes to quizzes and tests, she allows students to turn them in late (just don't take the answers THEN turn in your test cause then she won't accept it). Be prepared to study a lot because she doesn't really teach you that well. Its more of an independent class than her actually teaching a lesson.

Comment:

Mrs. Johnson is a great teacher. She enjoys lecturing the whole class time but that's about it. There were hardly any group participations and she gave us a quiz every class period which I think is not necessary. There was not that much review before the tests and I was not a fan of the online math hw.

Comment:

Amazing teacher, super organized and willing to go above and beyond to help her students. Has an amazing embedded tutor, Sagar, very systematic and precise, everything is explained in detail, and her style of lecturing with notes before hand is the only time I have seen this, works tremendously, wish my schedule worked for her next class.

Comment:

Took her for Calc-1. She's really helpful, and does a great job of teaching. Her tests are hard, but you can get up to 10% extra credit on them with the help of pop quizzes (so in other words don't miss class). Her homework is a lot harder than than her tests, and are worth around the same, so you have to take those seriously as well.

I could tell she really cares about all her individual students. She personally emails you if she thinks you need help. She will give you an extension on homework if you aren't able to finish it in time. You'll definitely pass as long as you go to class everyday and turn in all homework. Her fill in the blank notes also make the class much easier.

Always made time to help, gave most pop quizzes as take home and counted as extra credit. Gave handouts for notes, the ones who failed her class are the ones who put no effort.

Comment:

Johnson is very nice and helpful. All her "pop" quizzes are extra credit, however, she gives a lot of homework. She gives online homework as well as mandatory written homework that is graded. I ended up dropping her class, but that's because I just didn't have enough time to put into the homework (was taking 4 other classes).

Mrs Johnson is very nice teacher who is quite knowledgeable her lectures are just to fast you really cant keep up. you would have to self study at home in order to prepare for exams. but overall her tests are easy. I would recommend this class to fast learners.

Mrs. Johnson, wants you to learn! And trig is a subject you need to master before calculus so in the long run she's doing you a favor by making you learn the subject. Her tests are easy if you MEMORIZE the unit circle beforehand. Just memorize the unit circle it'll be very useful in Calculus trust me and become familiar with trig identities.

Cindy is clear in her delivery, completely understanding of the subject and provides explanations tailored as best expected to a student's personal relative understanding. I feel rewarded in my efforts and richly enlightened. She provided a great service and is highly recommended.

I dont recommend her. she teaches math as if you already know what she is talking about. unclear and when you ask her for help, she gives a vague explination of the topic. Horrible teacher.

Comment:

She is extremely helpful and patient to all questions. A very nice teacher! She goes over homework questions in the beginning of each class, and that helps with the quiz a lot. Exams can be a little tricky, but she's not a hard grader at all. Highly recommend!

She is nice but boring and confusing. Pop quizzes are given every day which makes homework a must just to understand the work even thou hw isn't even mandatory. Don't take her unless your willing to teach yourself!

I'm not sure what this dong below me thought, but I loved her teaching style. Not only did she take notes, but they were the most detailed I've ever seen...so detailed that I took them twice each class. I learned so much though, she taught me about "pi" after the 3rd digit, so that was cool. Some stuff about shapes, too.

Ridiculously bad teacher, her notes are from the 1950's and a different text. Half of our class dropped out because she cant teach. ONLY GIVES EXAMPLES THAT ARE GIVEN IN THE BOOK. CANT COME UP WITH HER OWN. Dont count on her being able to answer your questions because she can't. Nit picks about everything on your homework and tests. bad teacher
