While Francine is fine as a teacher, I also find that she has a very hard time letting go of her own aesthetic preferences and favours one type of art making over the other. She is intense and can be hyper critical in ways that are not helpful. She is still a fine person and ok for first year.

Francine is very down to earth and kind. The class often feels slow with power points because she's not very technical inclined. Be creative, follow the project and participate a bit and you'll do great!

Francine is caring and inspiring, she asked people to break away from their ideas and to let the clay guide them, perfect for a first year as it's a real exploration of the materials instead of just idea based. Francine puts in a lot of love in to this class. I am baffled by her low score.

while I can be reprimanded for not giving my all to this class, I can argue that I just didn't want to anymore. This class is the medium I want to continue in, but this class was structured around projects so contained by her own ideas of ceramics and the history of that, that I lost all desire to keep making.
