This is seriously the worst teacher I have ever had at CSUN. He is not only boring, but you dont even want to speak to him. He thinks he knows everyhing and seems like a total loser. I never want to go to his classes because hes simply useless. I do not recomend ever taking his classes. Maybe he needs some help in the bedroom he seems realy unhappy

Great teacher, fair grader. Tests fairly easy, straightforward multiple choice. I got an A on the first test, all I did was read through the chapters. He grades quite harshly on the lab assignment

THIS PROFESSOR IS HARD I DONT RECOMEND HIM. THE ONLY WAY I RECOMEND HIM IS IF YOU ARE A FAST NOTETAKER. HIS TESTS ARE HARD, YOU REALLY NEED TO STUDY.

Outside of class he may be different, but as an instructor he lacks a lot of things, including common sense. Very condescending (I am surprised he has not been reprimended because of the way he treats students with special needs), his lecture is too slow and repetitive, and he clearly shows he is not interested in teaching anymore. Sad, but true.

Dr. Shaw is a great professor. he may seem a little intimidating at first, but when you talk to him one on one, he's very helpful. this is a not-too-difficult but not-too-easy class. as long as you go to the lectures and read the book, you'll be ok. focus on final project. he is very anal with that. other than that, great class and great teacher.

Dr. Shaw is amazing. His lectures are very clear and understandable. He takes his time to explain things. The exams are somewhat difficult, but if you go to class you should so just fine! He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him!

He is a little boring but his tests aren't that bad. But sometimes he can get confused very easily. He didn't understand our project at first even though the rest of the class. Its up to you if you want to take him, but I don't recomend him.
