Sister Karen is very enthusiastic and has a clear passion for ensuring her students succeed. We watched the wizard of oz and les miserables, an essay and test for each. There was a group presentation in the auditorium as the final that was done in front of an audience. She's big on attendance but an easy grader. Lectures spell out tests and essays.

Class is easy and shes nice at times but can be such a hard ass. Shes a really tough grader and the group presentation at the end is REALLY strictly graded by her. She is very nit picky about anything you do. Will NOT let you skip class even if it is a deeply personal matter and very important. Nice to talk to but in class, shes rough

S. Karen is an absolute gem. Very caring lady, always asks how you're doing, brings food, shows movies. Teaches interesting, thought-provoking stuff. Big group project for the end, don't put it off. Overall, very funny professor, very realistic, classes can get deep. But I've made some great friends from that class. Definitely would take again.

I will miss this class from the bottom of my heart. Sister Karen has a kind personality and is just lovely. I enjoyed waking up and going to her class at 8am, and that is saying something. We wrote a play as a final project and it was the most fun I've had in a class ever. We also saw phantom of the opera on Broadway! I miss her already.

LOVED HER!! I had her for freshman seminar and she is awesome! Sister Karen is extremely helpful and wants you to succeed. The class is like a big group therapy session. She truly understands what we are going through and wants to help. I am so sad that the class had to end!
