Overall a Fair class. It seemed difficult because he didn't help with a lot of topics. Barely answered Q's in class from the HW. Hard to tell what could be on exam. Slight Curve(a complicated one). I had to learn alot by myself using a full solution manual from a previous edition. Exam's 65,75,87% each. I would take him. Great English!

I think mr. hanson is the best calculus teacher, he is so nice, and caring. This is a Calculus course , so dont expect it to be easy. you have to show up , participate, and work hard. Mr. hanson has been teaching for over 40 years, he knew his stuffs well, and he cares for student. Most of all, he is extremely generous, and nice.

I Loved his class! I had taken pre-calculus in High school, and I didn't like it all that much, so I was cautious about this class, but after 3 weeks, I decided on Engineering as my Major. Really amazing Professor!

When I took his course 6 math classes ago, I was frustrated with him because of the new confusion from being challenged in math for the first time. In retrospect, everything he said seems crystal clear and simple. I would say he's worth taking but keep in mind that it's easy to get a lower grade than you're used to.

I love Math, and I knew how to do everything prior to taking this course. All he did was continuosly confuse and frustrate me. He made a lot of mistakes, and his class wasnt very fun. I thought about changing my major after taking his class.
