Teacher is extremely rude, inconsiderate and not very helpful. When you ask her questions she tells you to go to tutoring, or she will ask you the same question as if to make you feel as if you asked a silly question. I wish I never took this class.

Teacher is really strict really rude she will literally yell at you in the middle of class for the dumbest of things . Keep your phone off that makes her super furious haha. I'm a music major so I know most of the stuff already and I'm in the course because it's required but if I didn't already have the knowledge I would be lost she is confusing.

GREAT teacher. If you do actually pay attention in class & do MOST of the homework you should do fine. KNOW your CIRCLE OF FIFTHS though. MEMORIZE this and you can pass. She spends a lot of time explaining and really loves her job. Very nice woman

She is, at heart, a kind woman. She is very fair and stern, however. Do your work and listen and you'll do fine. Nancy is a sweet lady and a great professor.Don't misjudge her seemingly rude behavior as mean, she is easily one of the most kind and caring individuals I have ever run into.

I had her for Music Fundementals & Beg.Piano.The downfall is that there's alot of material to learn in a short amount of time.The bright side is that she is extremly understanding & helpful to her students. She takes time to explain and make sure everyone understands and reviews all tests. She is a sweetheart and is quite entertaining & hilarious.

I'm in Music Fundamentals class and luckly I already know everything she's teaching, however, if I was new to music notation and theory and I took this class I know I would have a smooth start at the start of the semester but then after the first two Quizs I would be completely loss. Nancy has a tendancy to jump from one topic to another and go over tons and tons of material in one class session. Students who don't use notation regularly or haven't in the past are overwhelmed and often confused

piano playing is DIFFICULT, that's what some students don't realize. You need to practice like hell and study hard. It is not the teacher, she is helpful, explains very clear, goes step by step and I loved it.

Ms. Williams is an awesome music teacher. Although some concepts are difficult at times, she is willing to help you through. There is lots of homework (you really need it) that prepares you for the quizzes, which prepare you for the midterm. As long as you do all your assignments, come to class, get help so you don't fall behind, you'll do good

its not that she jumps around the stupid class is once a week which is sooo hard!its not her fault, its only two hours of lecture is not enough,she give a lot of homework which helps trust me. she is a great teacher i think you should take her she will help you and tutor if needed.some of her tests are really hard but she is verrry understanding.

Such a nice lady,but She jumps around a lot on her topics, and her tests are weird. She curves the grades, but the problem was that the student in my class with the highest grade repeated the class and had all the answers so she had like an A+ when everyone else had B, curve not so good, i ended with an A- but too much work for music class.

Considering the fact that she has to teach about the history of music, she does a pretty good job. She gives VERY detailed handout sheets right before a test so that you know exactly everything you need to know. She'll help you with anything you need, whether to stay after class for help or rearrange to take a test a different day if you need to.
