She goes over lecture in a timely manner and always asks if someone needs clarification. Make sure to do her study guides and you are set for the tests. And she is super helpful when it comes to essay conferences so make sure to make appointments with her (she really tells you what she wants from your essay during the conference)

She's really friendly and quirky in class & has an Italian accent that some people find hard to understand. Attendance is mandatory but she's very good at clarifying lecture info. Take notes on what she says in class b/c you'll see it on midterms/final. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS for essays & her study guides tell you everything you need for tests.

Great professor. Grades tough on essays, but office hours were definitely helpful. She takes the time to explain things for you. Midterm was easy and final was relatively easy. She's cute and fun to listen to and is very insightful. You get used to her accent after the first or second class and she's definitely my favorite professor so far.

Dr. N is absolutely awesome. She's such a cute lady and she's extremely funny. Essay grading was quite strict, but her student-teacher conferences are helpful in improving your drafts. She explains the material from lecture in a lot of detail, so as long as you attend discussion with her and take decent notes, you're set for the midterm and final.

Very quirky professor, but very nice and warm. Practically no homework, which was great, and grades essays just a little hard (although no one got an A on our second paper; quite a few did on our third one). Doesn't really go too in depth when covering the material, is more concerned with making sure everyone gets it. Pleasant experience.

I really enjoyed her discussion class. She is a tough grader but compliments this with a caring attitude and an amazing intellect. She knows what she is talking about and really tries to be fair. She encourages discussion in her class, and by no means sppon-feeds you answers. Take her if you can, her accent is entertaining = ]

has a cute italian accent, nice sense of humor. very engaging lecturer, and encourages discussion. very helpful during office hours, i went to office hours for each paper, and felt better about my paper...but i ended up with a C for writing! in my other humcore classes i've gotten an A and a B. she grades pretty hard.

Really nice teacher, and really funny. She obviously cares about her students. She has great insight on the subject but doesn't always make things clear. Definitely use her office hours. She's a difficult but fair grader and an AMAZING discussion leader. Even though she has a thick Italian accent, there's no trouble understanding her, and she makes really hilarious comments in class! Fun, totally chill, and definitely knows what she's talking about.

She's a good teacher, but incredibly difficult grader. As far as I know, that's all anyone can really expect from anyone in Humcore. She does do her best to help, so if you don't procrastinate GO HAVE HER EDIT YOUR ESSAYS. Just don't expect an A unless you only breathe the books and lectures.

Overall, Nuccia is a good professor. She takes the time to thoroughly explain material from lecture when it is not understood. It is obvious that she cares about her students. She is a bit hard to follow in the beginning and her Italian accent takes a bit of getting used to, but she wants you to succeed in her class. Make use of office hours.

As long as you put in the effort to give your opinion in discussions and do what she asks on your essay. you'll get a decent grade. She's very nice and funny. she took the time to explain lecture and things we don't understand rather than give unhelpful busy work.
