Comment:

Class discussion/lecture was never relevant to the reading, and the reading was really repetitive. She wasn't especially prepared or interested in our class. The class was far too conceptual, not at all rooted in fact. That being said, the class was super easy, and she was really relaxed about deadlines. Really nice lady, but a terrible professor.

Stephanie is a kind, approachable person but her class is pretty bad. She's disorganized, class time is used very inefficiently, discussions are not moderated well, and her expectations seem to be very low. I feel like checked out half way through the semester. It's too bad because the class has so much potential.

Stephanie is totally supportive of our learning environment in class, and creates an atmosphere that really stresses importance on our personal reactions to the class material. She truly cares about her students and her job, and is very humble. She is part of what I love so much about Hampshire!

Stephanie's a little scattered at times, but she's very nice and eager to help. Her easygoing nature sometimes translates into her not challenging your assertions so make it clear that you want her to call you on any BS.
