Comment:

Prof. Seremet is a good teacher, but he does teach a tad fast. That being said if you haven't taken algebra before in HS or if you don't read the textbook like he recommends, you will get lost. He does give quizzes every class, so attendance is a must. Overall good teacher, he was always willing to answer questions and discuss your test with him.

Good luck to whoever takes this class, you will have to teach yourself. He has a tutor fill in for him whenever he isn't available for class and the tutor isn't the best either. Half of the time he will lecture us on staying awake and how we aren't in high school anymore, then he will do the same examples out of the book. Not helpful at all.

Awesome Professor and one of the first challenging course I have taken. He does not do Mathlab and has a rather strict grading system. If you do all the homework and review before exams you'll possibly earn that A or B, but make sure you 100% understand your algebra and trig. Not knowing 100% messed me up loss me that A.

I took this class because it was required for my major, but then I decided to switch my major because of this class. The teacher is nice, but he teaches us like we learned all this before. I came from Algebra/Trig and he teaches us like we learned this in high school or just recently. He moves too fast and we have a quiz every class. Hard Class!

I chose the hilarious tag because it is hilarious if you think you're gonna pass. This man is a super tough teacher. All he ever says when I ask a question is 'see me after class' or 'why weren't you awake'. He expects you to be on time AND stay awake for the ENTIRE CLASS. Like what? You've got to be kidding me. He will rap up your life endlessly.

He does not use MathLab. As a result, the only practice for students is from the textbook. He also rushes through lectures, causing more confusion. He does not give extra credit. He is also a tough grader. If problems in homework and tests are not solved in his preference, credit will not be given.

The material he taught was very clear and it helped me a lot. He gives pre-made note sheets which are also very helpful. If you attend every class, take notes, and pay attention its an easy A.

He gives you homework that isn't required for a grade but helps a lot. Math is all about practice and if you don't try you're not gonna pass. He gives you plenty of opportunities to get help you just have to ask. My alarm didn't go off the day of our final and he didn't even give me a hard time and let me make it up no problem.

Not a good professor. Teaches fast and doesn't help. All he goes over are examples in the book. You basically teach yourself in the class. If math is your strong subject you will do fine, if it is your worst you won't do too good. Good Luck to anyone who has got him

He means well and has good intentions. He teaches very fast, if you are not strong math there is a strong chance you may struggle or fail. This class is not very interactive and there is little student participation and he will answer some questions. One good thing is Quizzes,you can get extra points on quiz from homework problems.

when he teaches he teaches VERY fast! He doesn't help me at all! Math is my worst subject and i am currently failing the class along with a few others. If you take him be prepared for a fast lesson!

If your going to take this class with him, be prepared to study the math every single day of the week, in order to do well. The class pace goes fast, so you have to make sure not to get behind. He doesn't give extra credit. If you are not a math person, try looking for another professor, that has a more easier approach in teaching and grading.

Prof Seremet was awesome. He went over math problems like it was a breeze and made sure everyone got the problem and the answer. He is very patient and helpful, and wants to make sure that his students are learning. Towards the end of the semester, he helps students to get used to college, pretty good.

Very well structured class. He is very good at explaining where a math problem comes from, the parts of it, and why it works the way it does. He moves along the problems progressively getting harder as you get further into each section, but always ties it back to the basics so its nothing too hard to comprehend.

Wonderful teacher! He does not tolerate talking or texting in class, but you are there to learn so that shouldn't bother you. He wants everyone to do well and will do anything to help. I would love to have this professor for every math class.
