I never understood what she was talking about. She does not explain her messages clearly. I sat to the front of the class and I always participated. I studied hard for my quizzes and test which were all essay. I made C's D's and a F basically because I was lost. So try to find a male that teaches this class. Don't take her!

She's amazing to listen to. I was never board in her class. She has high standards, and her papers and tests aren't easy. She's not unrealistic or unfair, but she does expect a lot. She welcomes students into her office to talk at any time. I find her most inspiring and engaging. It takes a lot of effort to pass, but it's worth it.

Brilliant professor, no wonder some may rate her poorly, they would be heartily challenged by her standards and many would not make the grade. This course on existentialism changed my life, and Blanche literally welcomed us into her home. Everyone in the class LOVED it, and her!!!
