Comment:
Tends to yell at students, if you give the right answer he asks the next student like you were wrong and only find out you where right 5 students later. Tends to get key points of law incorrect and miss quotes the restatements. Uses very specific language that you won't find used anywhere else. Tends to ramble on that you haven't learned anything.

Hands down the best Professor I have ever taken. You need to attend each class but he is available outside of class and will be able to answer ANY question. Responds quickly to emails and best authority in the field.

Prof. Rounds conveys material clearly only to ATTENTIVE listeners. Thankfully he spent most of the time repeating himself until we knew it. It's because of him I know the EXACT definition of a GPOA (RAP& so many others) by heart. He is a gem. Take his class, get the book, read it, and write down every word he says in the order he says it. Good Luck

I had Professor Rounds for Drafting Wills and Trusts. Professor Rounds cares deeply about the success of his students. If you give him your time, attention, and maximum effort then he will make sure you have what you need to do well on the exam.

If you like to learn by being screamed at then you will love Rounds. When 3/4 of the class didn't see a point he was trying to make he said it was because of the "degradation of American law schools." His attitude is better suited for a reform school than a law school, and to top it off even when I was fully engaged I learned almost nothing.

I took these two classes separately. Rounds is by far one of the most outstanding professors at the law school. You will learn trusts inside and out and with his estates class you will feel at an advantage when going into the MA bar exam because he makes sure to point out how to UPC differs from the MA probate code. Dark sense of humor, the best

As previous reviewers suggested, you can do well in this class. Just be sure to focus on what he says in-class and not as heavily on the textbook. He gives you plenty of prior exams and will always answer your questions. Plus you really learn the material. His war stories can get a bit old as does his cold calling, but overall recommended.

My favorite Professor at Suffolk. Don't miss out on Prof. Rounds; he is a Trusts genius. His T&E is very heavy on Trusts. If you are sick of ivory tower, super-liberal academics, you will feel at home with Prof. Rounds. He really cares that you learn the material. Focus on the class material and don't get bogged down in the textbook.

Listen to him when he says he will tell you what is on the exam. He will not try to trick you. If you learn what he says, you will know Trusts. (And property, and contracts, and agency.) Great professor.

Prof. Rounds' comprehensive expertise in trusts was very apparent in his Trusts (formerly Fid. Rel.) class. On the first day, he was extremely intimidating, but after that you just realize that is part of his schtick. Very approachable outside of class, and although I remember being worried about my exam grade I ended up with an A. Great guy.

I've had a couple classes with Rounds and he's always fun. If you get his dry humor and keep up with his lectures, you're in for a treat. He knows everything there is to know. He wrote the book on Trusts and his Drafting class is very helpful for anyone who thinks they may ever at any point draft a will or trust document. Don't be intimidated.
