I got a look at the syllabus for this year...it is beyond easy. Easier than I have ever seen. Basically you would have to try harder to get a bad grade than a good grade. Take her class this semester folks its going to be extremely easy!

Llewellyn is absolutely amazing. She is funny, and her lectures are interactive. But take heed, because you cannot slack off in her class. If you are a good student then you will do fine. A little advice, get the online quizzes done early and that will help a lot.

Dr. Llewellyn is an amazing pedagog and the best voice professor I have ever worked with. She is compassionate and works hard to have her students succeed. Classes will not be easy if you aren't on top of your game! Keep your eye on the ball. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! SHE'S AMAZING!!! :)

Hard class. Teacher can be funny but is also strict. Not very helfpul. Have to write long essays. Grades hard. I heard one of the guy MUSG-101 teachers is waaaayy easier!This class IS PASSABLE but with hard work.

Not the best teacher you can take for music appreciation. She's really confusing, I was glad I was able to drop the class without a W. I could already tell I didn't like the class by that date (which is not something you could determine that early).. it's that bad, in my opinion. Save time, take it with Stroud and you'll be a much happier person

Extremely confusing teacher, bounces off the walls one day, next day ready to bite your head off. Uses too many methods to teach making it extremely hard to follow and find her notes online. Goes through her power points too quickly. Her class gets real old around week 4. Would not recommend her.

Really tough class to pass is all I can say, not something you can not pass without hard work. But if you aren't a music major, I would take it with another instructor (even if you are, I still would take it with another instructor).

Her class is easy to pass as long as you go. You get points everyday. But she is WAY too into it. The people that are taking it are there becuase they have to and she teaches like everyone wants to major in music. Everyday she tries to cram soo much information in and you never have enough time to write it all.

She is a great teacher, she tries to hammer all the terms in your brain on a daily basis. There are so many terms in music appreciation, and she's pretty good about thoroughly explaining (and making you listen to the songs a MILLION times to GET it)...if you really wanna learn about some serious Mozart and Beethoven, take her.

Very funny-outgoing teacher, extremely helpful. The first day of class she gives a schedule which she follows the whole semester though making it very easy to skip ahead and get your work done early. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities but requires online and in-class work.

Dr. Llewellyn is very helpful, you have to literally work harder to get a bad grade. She is always ready to help someone do better and as long as you act like a decent student (ie: show up to class/tests, take notes,and not cheat) If you are a lazy person do not take this class in general, actually drop out of school and save yourself/parents money

Prof. Llewellyn is AWESOME! She packs so much information into her lectures, but then offers the lectures online that night, communicates by email if you have any questions and is happy to help walk you through anything you still don't understand. I HIGHLY recommend her. Music Appreciation is NOT an EASY class, but she helps and makes it fun!

She is pretty cool, and really sarcastic. It's not technically an "easy" A, but all you have to do is do the homework, take notes, pay attention, and show up. She tells you exactly what is on the test, so no surprises. Not too much homework at all. Plus, it's pretty fun. You should take her.

If you want to take this class for an easy A, then don't. You actually learn stuff in this class and you're expected to do your work--and there's a lot of it. But she's good at explaining things so it's pretty easy and she offers a lot of extra credit. She repeats a lot of things so just pay attention and you'll do fine.

OH MY GOSH she is soo grouchy and doesnt explain things she just goes through powerpoints that are on black board this class is more of a hybrid class than anything personally i love music and didnt really see anything usefull in this class. she can be kind of random but i wouldn not recommend her

Great teacher! Definitely knows her stuff. Work wasn't too hard you just have to at least try. All together had about 12 h/w assignmts. Take this class if you want to learn about music because you will learn. Come to lectures! it helps alot when testing comes around. Also, tests are very predictable, she tells u exactly what to study!

Her class was ok. It wasnt super hard but it wasnt that easy. We had a lot of assignments for a class that really people only took to graduate or transfer. She was a very odd person. She wasnt super friendly and was a little aloof. I would not recomend taking her if you do not want to do lots of homework or listen to classical music.

She is the best professor ever! Very professional and passionate about her teaching. She does give a lot of work but its all worth it in the end if you do it! Study and listen to music excepts and you will do fine. If you dont want to truly learn about music, dont take this class. She doesnt tolerate anyone interrupting her teaching. Great teacher!
