I hated History until I took this class. He works mostly from his lectures so I would show up to class.but read the book just in case because he will throw questions on tests. His grading system is awesome. I did well on the exams and did b.s. homework sheets once a week and pulled an A-. Not bad for someone who HATES history. Travis Bowman ROCKS.

I'm in my last semester at SUNY Cobleskill. I had Bowman for 3 different history classes at C-GCC. He's STILL my favorite professor. Made stuff so easy to understand. Not making us memorize names & dates helped keep the focus on the "how" & "why". Very cool dude. Also, he won't remember this, but: "October 14, 1066: The Battle of Hastings".

Prof. Bowman is the best!!! I took Western Civ. (the medieval one) and he did such an awesome job with it that if I could I would take over again. My only complaint was that there are not many opportunities to raise your grade in his class. There's barely any homework or quizzes, just four tests. But just study his test sheet and you'll do fine.
