Comment:

She's a good speaker, and I liked that her lectures were pretty interactive, but despite the fact that she gave clear guidelines for assignments, I felt her grading was a lot tougher than necessary. This is coming from someone who did fairly well in her class. Also, her lectures could get a little long, although the concepts she teaches are useful.

Great lady, very interpersonal and always makes herself available to answer questions. She is a tough but fair marker. Her lectures can be repetitive and are incredibly long and monotonous but cover a very interesting breadth of subjects. The best lectures were the ones that she was obviously interested in and passionate about.

Lectures for 3 straight hours, no class participation or stimulation. Was a wonderful prof for PLAN 1001 but seems bored with this topic. Classes were infinitely better when she came to civilizationstopics she was interested in. Repeated same lesson class after class just using a different city as an example. Extremely erratic and hard marker.

Lectures are interesting. Easy-going and patient professor. Really fair marking, this means we need to work in order to get satisfying grades. Though the lecture is a bit long, she can organize it very well. Attendance sheet or pop quiz every day D: BTW there would probably be sweets in front of the classroom after lecture:)

Professor Grant is worth her weight in gold. She knows so much & shares her knowledge generously. If you do not understand something, she will explain it again. She does give alot of assignments but she marks them right away so you can learn from her feedback. I looked online. She has written lots. She is the best prof at the planning school.

She is a great teacher- definitely expects you to read the textbook. She's a challenging prof on assignments. Also, make sure you go to every class because she gives pop quizzes like its her JOB. Also, go to tutorials because its an easy 10/10. You don't even have to participate that much.

An outstanding professor! She made every effort to answer any questions students had. Extremely approachable and encourages opinions in class. Lectures are evry clear and powerpoints are exceptional! She expects alot, creativity really helps in this class, but her marking is very fair. If you have any aspirations with design, this class is a must!
