Comment:

Very disrespectful. She has a different website that has the schedule of the homework and the tests but she will never tell you about changes in that schedule. She scolded us and made us feel like idiots and if you called her out, she is very rude afterwards. She gave my class a test right even though the schedule said it was the next class.

Goes over things throughly and makes it easy to understand. I hate math and I'm really bad at it but she taught it in a way that I understood it crystal clear She only gives 3 tests the whole semester and she gives hw every night but she does not check it its to better your understanding of it. Gives you daily journals (must be handed in on time)

She wants you to pass and she does the most to help you do so. Her lectures are fast but precise. there is a lot of journals and homework they are annoying but they are there designed to help you understand the material and allows her to know what she needs to cover more in-depth. She is awesome! def take again

If you're like me and not so great in math, don't skip any classes! She explains things very well but I missed a few classes and was lost for that section. If you miss a test she makes you wait until the final week of the semester to take it and it is much shorter so there's less room for error. She is a wonderful teacher though! Do all the HW!

I've hated math all my life and somehow this class was a breeze for me. Her lectures are so clear and the exams directly reflect that. No surprises. Daily journals are a bit annoying but I understand why she does them. Overall I was really pleased with this class and it gave me hope that I'm not doomed in mathematics.

Took her for Mat-130 and loved her. She may go fast sometimes but if you ask her to repeat it, she doest not mind. She has 3 exams, daily journals and test journals. The best advice I can give you is study on everything she tells you to study on and you will easily get a good grade. I definitely recommend her.

Best Professor At Bergen. Lectures are clear as could be and the exams are just what you do in class. Took her for Contemporary and Stats and actually came out learning something unlike other classes where you hardly learn a thing. Also she is a people person unlike other professors that have a wack personality. MUST TAKE!

she actually really sweet and nice, and she would try to help student with any problems they're having just dont go to her and for help because your not understanding it. you have to go and ask her for help on a specific. she is also very rude when she wants to be, she would say if you don't understand this by not then you shouldn't be in college.

She's so helpful. Journal due every class, but it's just on homework & reading. Do them!! Only chapter tests. Has her own website where you have to register for homework. Easy class if you follow her notes. Loved her.

Sweetest woman ever, honestly. She's a great instructor, she always asks us multiple times if we're okay with the material before she moves on and is extremely helpful. She gives great real life examples that apply to the lesson so it's very easy to understand. I'm not a math person at all, and I can easily say this class is a breeze.

Best professor ever I failed her class basically because i didnt care at first but she would continuously push me and eventually i got an A on my last test even though i failed every test exp one she did everything she could and i received a D I have to retake this class because it is required to have a B for my major and i am deff taking her again

Comment:

Statistics is an interesting branch but the professor was lackluster and left a lot to be desired. She's too focused on piecemeal, she doesn't realize that the sum is greater than it's parts. She makes the course harder than it has to be by being pedantic and unyielding. I would not take Statistics or as a matter of fact, any other course with her.

BUNCH OF TEDIOUS ASSIGNMENTS: after test journals, daily journals, read chap, and do math problems. She goes over any questions in class but she explains it FAST. I barely have time to write anything down and fully understand the lesson. She is VERY strict on attendance and handing in assignments on time. Overall she is a nice lady.

Her lectures aren't bad but she gives students ANNOYING assignments such as after test journals and daily journals. She wants everything in a specific way and is not understanding. She yells and is very strict with attendance. If you were in traffic even though you left early? TOO bad. Leave your house 2 hours early to satisfy your professor.

Good teacher! I would definitely take her again if I could. Explained lessons really well and helped if you didn't understand. She has daily journals to hand in for each class based on the lesson but they were super easy. Very accepting of absences as long as they had a reason. Recommend taking her class if you have the chance!

I should have definitely failed but didnt. Professor Giglietta is an extremely sweet woman. She explains everything at a slow pace and is very very clear. She tries her hardest to make sure that you don't fail her class, and it is obvious that she cares for her students. Also I was way way over the absences and she did not count it against me.

Amazing Professor! After leaving her class makes me feel smart. I recommend her to every student for every subjects that she teaches. just do the homework, journals and make sure you are there daily and willing to learn and you'll get an A definitely.

She a one of the best math teacher I ever had in my life. she break down the course materials in very simplistic way and there are 3 chapter quiz. 1st one is the hardest, she will review the exam and clearly tell you what she wants for answers. if you show up and do her journals and home works its easy A.
