Very smart and funny. He gives a lot of work. I really learned a lot in this class. He motivated me to work harder and I tested out of my reading classes.

He is very rude, has obscure test questions, does not tell us what he wants our of speechs. Does not discuss anything in the textbook. If you can get a different teacher, please do, you will be saving yourself a lot of stress.

RUN FAR FAR AWAY. Stay away from this professor, he is very mean to his students. He seems to enjoy publicly ridiculing his students and is not very understanding about the fact that some students may have extreme fears of public speaking. He is very rude and does not discuss any of the information you are expected to read out of the book.

Re his public speaking class: This professor perhaps means well, but wastes class time with stories about himself, his family, India, his ideas. He is is not encouraging, rarely praises, never coaches people, you are supposed to learn from the textbook! His quizies are sometimes obscure. Many quit class, a few like him.

This guy is funny but wastes a lot of time. He will also wait until after something has been graded to let you know guidelines that you missed, rather than telling you beforehand.

He was definitely my favorite teacher. He is extremely funny and makes you think about stuff. He also try to figure out what you believe and why you believe it. there isn't to much work but i would definitely recommend this teacher if you want a serious and fun class.

Professor is interesting and very knowledgable. Lectures get off track quite often, but he does provide useful and interesting examples. You will work hard and graded the same. Most people will say they don't like him because he actually takes the time to really grade and look over your papers, for content & grammar, what all professors should do!

MY FAVORITE CLASS EVER. No other professor has come close to challenging me the way that Prof. Kandath did. No tests, just LONG papers to write. He makes you think! His class is very much like the real world-no one holds your hand and makes it easy for you. I learned so much about my own potential and I have the greatest amount of respect for him.

This is the worst professor I have ever had, he is a complete scatterbrain and I learned nothing from his class except maybe about his kids and family. Good luck if you take his class because he is a nazi and it will be a huge waste of your time

Avoid his classes if possible! Class lectures were unstructured and his grading expectations were unclear. Every class was a waste of time. Good luck to anyone who must take one of his classes.

You MUST attend class and spend a lot of time thinking and working on the assignments. He is very unclear in his expectations, but if you have the attitude that you can get out what you put in to your education, there is the potential to learn a lot in this class. Be prepared to do the most work for the lowest grade of the semester!

He is very demanding, knowledgeable and honest in teaching and providing evaluations of our performance in class. He is not the most focused in his lectures. He is the only professor that provides extensive feedback on our writing. I regret being in class with a group of whiners and underprepared students who have a false sense of their abilities.

Well read guy but does not know how to communicate to undergrads! Off topic, scatter brain, and does not teach what will be on test or paper. Worthless class! He should stick with Philosophy and leave Communication alone before students flunk out!!!

The most frustrating class I've taken. He's clearly very well read, but completely lacks the capacity to convey that knowledge in an organized or efficient way. The grading was badly defined, the syllabus was useless, lectures rarely stayed on topic.

A disappointing class. He is well read but terrible at communicating the material. Assignments were confusing, grading was ambiguous and he can't answer questions. I learned more from an outside textbook. You can tell he didn't want to be there. He never knew what was going on and we never got back our final papers. Frustrating and disappointing.

Avoid. This guy talks about how he beats his kids and everyone will be walking on all fours in a couple hundred years. Seriously. His lectures are almost completely off-topic and the average score on the first exam was 28 out of 50. Run, don't walk.
