Comment:
This instructor would inconveniently announce an assignment being due directly before a test. She also made frequent changes to her outline, but did not give students an updated schedule. Additionally, her lecture style was flawed in the sense that she frequently digressed from any given topic. Overall, I would avoid her courses if possible.

Tests do not cover what's in her lectures. Nice enough person, but very specific/tough when it comes to writing papers. Takes job too seriously for a community college teacher.

Students complained about this being the hardest class they've taken but I considered it to have a usual college workload. The best way to study is to read the textbook and she expects you to know almost everything within the chapters. Attendance isn't necessary for a good grade, she gives a pop quiz for each unit though. & Extra credit available.

Late for literally every single class this semester. Every class! She won't post grades online, it takes her too much time. You have chances for extra credit which you will need. The tests barely cover what she went over in class, she puts emphasis on the wrong things.

Very interesting material, somewhat likable, but no matter how many questions you ask it circles back to her nieces without answering. Studied countless hours a day pretty much every day to fail exams. I enjoy a challenge, but it's consistently a smack in the face. I was taking a few classes while waiting to go back to my university, and this was one of the hardest courses that I've ever taken.

Too many stories during class, not enough preparation for the difficulty of the tests.

Far and away the worst excuse for an instructor I've ever had. If there were as many lectures on psychology as there were anecdotes and stories about her nieces, I'd be be practicing clinically after this class. Always seemed to be disappointed in the class's test grades in spite of the lack of instruction. Really?!

This class was very difficult, but worth taking. I learned a lot from this class. Although it is difficult she lets you know what you need to know and how much you need to study to pass the tests.

I wouldn't take Psych with any other prof, because I have learned more from her than anyone else. Her exams are extremely challenging, and I believe she teaches as if we weren't community college students, which gets us transfer students ready.

I took the class because I had to for a general education requirment. She teaches the class as if it was a 400 level when it is really an intro class. It is one of the hardest classes I have ever taken, but I did learn a lot.

Very difficult course. I was not used to having to study for such long periods of time until I had her course. Questions on exams were sometimes not covered in class, she had a tendency to overlook important details. Kinda likeable, but sometimes rude
