The class was very project heavy and relied on you to participate in class. When going into the class I knew nothing about finance, nor cared, but Dr. Bharati taught many valuable life lessons through basic financial concepts. I feel I left this class a better member of society.

Good professor, just not really what an honors class was supposed to be. Rather than being student-led discussion, it turned into hour and a half long lectures on financial concepts and his work experience. Learned a lot early on, but there were many papers, in-class daily journals, and projects that repeated themselves and had unclear guidelines.

Rakesh is a great professor. Took the class over summer. Homework was due every week and you do not want to miss it as there are penalties. Homework took a long time, however, it helps improve your grade so shoot for a 100. Overall I believe it should be taken online. Not a difficult course. The exams are just like the homework.

Took class over the summer. Homework due every week, a lot of work but not difficult. Never watched his lectures nor looked at the PP slides. Easy A's on every homework assignment. Definitely recommend to take over the summer. Easy MidTerm, Hard Final! Most of your points comes from the HW so just be sure to do well on the HW! Never opened book!

Dr. Bharti is a lazy professor whom has no direction. Throw your syllabus in the trash as this man has no place in a grade school class room, let alone a 400 level capstone course as a professor at a highly credited University. That said he is partial to non-english speaking students, and thinks smart Americans are lazy! His words.

Pros: Goes over material at a good slow pace you have time to study and absorb material), makes you think and relate to outside world examples (not just the book), goes step by step on project help. Cons: Can ramble, does not have office hours, didn't want to ask questions in class because felt he made students feel dumb in class for asking

Struggled through the online section of this class. It took approximately 15-20 hours a week to cover the course material, complete the homework, and take quizzes/exams. The material is hard in the best of circumstances, but compressed in 10 weeks it was brutal. Glad I was able to knock this class out online instead of in person.

He did not assign all the materials on the syllabus including 3 quizzes, articles, and homework on finance lab. So at the end of the semester, he just multiplied grades to meet his quota. Totally unacceptable. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE.

Great instructor, very knowlegdable. Can be a little confusing at times, but he does try to help you relate it to something in the real world that you can relate to. Mid term and final is difficult,

One of the most unprepared instructor I have ever seen. Came to class with no preparation. Often cut class time by repeating common-sense many times. This guy really makes his money easily.

Definately one of the most intelligent professors in the school. You will learn A LOT from him if you are willing to pay attention and work hard. He has a ton of real-world experience and he is always willing to give advice or guidance. I highly recommend taking his classes.

Probably the smartest teacher at the school, which tends to make people think he is hard, but talk to him and get to know him. He's a great guy that makes you think when you ask a question but he will help you. If he gets going to fast ask him to slow down, he will. Always ask for his essay exams.

Bharati should learn how to behave with People. He lacks the ability to encourage students and think positively in class. A professor cannot expect good performance and blame only the students for not studying enough, he should look on the other side too.
