Comment:
Deathly boring. He just sits and lectures. Recommended if you are looking for an easy Prof. Resp. class. I did not buy the casebook or attend the lectures. Read the rules online and got an A. Doesn't get any easier than that. Don't expect anything more.

Professor Clark is really easy to like. But, as a professor, his lectures are very boring. There really is no need to go to his class except for the days that he is handing out and collecting the take-home final exam. The exam is easy, but you have to teach yourself the material before working on it. You will not pass the MPRE on the first try.

Very nice man. I like that he handled the inflammatory topics with a neutral attitude, and deflected the endless pontifications of the class motormouths.

This is an easy Prof Resp class and I definitely recommend him. You won't need to use the text and the final is take home. It's a boring class but you blame Clark for that. He does videos for a few classes and doesn't take attendance. He gives you 1 final question at the beginning of the semester and final is only 10 pages total. Grades Easy too

Class is easy, you won't need to use the text. It's a boring class, but there's only so much one can do with the subject. There's videos every class and plenty of examples. I did well on the MPRE without taking a Kaplan or other course. No final exam, only a paper which he grades easy.

Very nice guy who will give you all the help you want before exams. Unfortunately, he is terrible and you will have to teach yourself Con Law. On the other hand, he is an easy grader. People who knew almost nothing did quite well. Avoid if possible.

He's generally a nice guy and a knowledgeable professor, but his exam was totally out of control. The exam covers about 20-30 SC cases from ALL the cases we've read. You should do fine if you've studied AND briefed each and every case in the case book.

Literally the worst professor I have ever had. I can't think of a single positive comment. He's dry, rambling, and stuck in the 1970s.

Def the prof to take if you have trouble sleeping (he will bore you to slumberland with a monotonous recitation of the text) or, have trouble reading (since his version of "teaching" is to read the text back you: Dude, I know how to read!). He knows the material, but standing up there and droning on does NOT constitute teaching.

as a first year student, clark was the worst possible professor for constitutional law. he spoke 5 words per minute and rarely came to class prepared. the textbook was unorganized. for a subject that could have been interesting, clark made it so dull. he clearly liked the subject, but only cared about his opinion on issues.

Comment:
Prof Clark is a good guy who teaches a course that is hard to make interesting. The previous comment is a bit unfair. The cases in class were very interesting and the prof himself is interested in the subject and likes to talk about extended points. I liked him. I also took the MPRE on Nov 8, 2008 during the class and passed. So, no harm no foul.

Honestly the most boring person on earth. More dry and monotone than Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller...and talks about 6 words per minute. Slightly smug. Takehome exam is due like a week before finals...and he still gets grades in very very late. Pretty sure you can do well without going to class at all.

I had him for Con Law and PR. The Con Law class was the best class I've had at Suffolk. He cares about the students--he'll review your practice tests and that pays off.

Simply regurgitates the text for 1hr and 40 minutes in a monotone teaching style. Nothing positive to say about his teaching or fairness of the exam.

Seems like a nice guy but incredibly boring. Lots of reading... I cant really complain, I totally slacked off and got a B- , so if you can bear his style and do the reading you will do fine.

I'm going to disagree with the preceding comments. He is slightly arrogant and has absolutely no room for alternative points of view. He seems to know the SCOTUS very well from hiw lectures, but then doesn't remember key information about the cases. He is, however, quite an easy grader and provides good exam guidance with his practice tests.
