I am blown away by the raving reviews that this woman gets on here. She assigns a 3-5pg paper every week. She embarrasses and scolds all of her students except for one handsome, young man that she likes. Because of this, the atmosphere of her class is uncomfortable. It is very hard to remain tolerable & polite to this woman. Never again!!!

Professor Cavanaugh is wonderful. She is very funny and sarcastic. Always willing to help. She gives you plenty of time to write your papers (5 in total). You peer edit papers, then the following week hand in your 1st draft. She will correct it, hand it back and let you make changes before she grades it. Show up to class and bring your dictionary!

Awsome professor!! She is one tough cookie but she makes you learn and makes it fun. I was going to drop on second class because of courseload but enjoyed her lectures so much I just couldn't. She has made me passionate about literature again. Best class I ever took. Take this class even if you just need to fill an elective.

The most caring person I have ever met. I had some serous personal problems at home. Talking to her really helped me get through it and the class. Workload is moderate but very beneficial. If you like English, as I do, she is the best teacher to have. She makes it fun using class discussion. I actually looked forward to class. Thank you Prof C!

Incredible women! Incredibly knowlegable! Class consist mostly of discussion. Fun discussion. Very insightful. Workload is moderate but definatley worth it and grading is very fair. Two thumbs up!
