Professor Dunlap is an okay professor! The content is boring and she tries to make it interesting. She is really caring and is accessible outside of class. 100% of the course grade is based off of tests.

Comment:

Professor Dunlap is one of the best faculty members that UMass Law has to offer. She is kind, caring, hilarious, and wants to see students succeed. The reading is EXTENSIVE and the content is dry, but if you study and outline enough and do all of the textbook hypotheticals, you'll be good to go.

Her style definitely isnt for everyone but for those that like it, it works really well. You just have to have a good system for notes for yourself because shell go all over the place, but shes engaging and knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Just pay attention and do your readings bc you wont get it all from class alone. I thought she was great.

She's one of those professors that you appreciate after the fact. Civ Pro is not fun or easy, but she does her best to make it interesting. Be specific in your essays and really lay everything out. Her multiple choice can be a bit challenging. Definitely recommend her.

This teacher is great! Alot of students complain because they think she's unclear, but at the end of the class you get her point! The textbook easily clears up any confusion! You can tell she loves teaching and wants to help students!

Comment:

One of the few teachers I've ever had who quite possibly has no ego. Amazing, eh? She's a smart lady with a great sense of humor. Her class goes by quickly and she's very accessible to her students. Her tests are challenging but she doesn't throw anything at you that she hasn't taught.

This prof. is so funny & interesting. She really made me undertsand the material. In response to the others...it the law of Property thats not clear not her..You need to do a lot of work. i highly recommend taking her!

TRULY A CLASS ACT! She is a genuine person. She sincerely cares about her students and creates a friendly class environment. Her explanations were not perfect but they were far from abstract. Her critics are probably just angry about getting low grades, which in all actuality they deserve as the product of THIER OWN SLACKING and NOT of her teaching
