Professor Z is very caring, and wants you to understand the material. She explains things in a different way if you don't understand. She really tries to make things as clear as possible. I recommend her for the art rotation of MAT 300!

An awesome teacher, she's amazing and extremely understanding. very passionate about her work and there for you. She will go above and beyond for you and is extremely helpful when asked for help. She made me go from hating art to loving it. Would take the class again only if I had her!!

Professor Z is an awesome professor. Her accent can be hard to understand at sometimes but feel free to ask her to repeat. She is super helpful and doesn't grade on how good of an artist you are. There is no reason why you shouldn't get an A.

Kati is not nice. She will pick on a student in front of the class and she assigns way too much homework. It's her way or the highway. 2 people dropped from being Art Ed majors because they didn't like her. I couldn't wait to be through taking her classes. She can be brazen and rude, and she talks way too much. Hated taking these classes with her.

Really nice lady. Strong accent but she explains things really slowly so you can understand. Really knows her art but I have to admit, I didn't really learn much (as far as ways to use art in my classroom) from her. But the assignments are rather fun!

I absolutely loved this class and Prof Kati. She is great. You have to really pay attention though or you will not understand what she is saying. The class was easy, just did a lot of projects. One presentation, one paper. I would highly recommend Kati to ANYONE!!! Take her! :)

she was a pretty good teacher for 332. I agreed with most all of the comments that were said about her. But this past class Art Curriculum,we learned NOTHING about Curriculum. She even yelled at a student during class while they were trying to present. In front of the class Kati said "It's okay, you can cry" to her. I think the girl did later.

good class, good prof. always ends up planning too much for the semester, but it tapers off in the end. she cares about you as a future teacher, and is passionate about art and teaching it. be patient and you'll do fine, always a fair grader, ask questions when you have them, and do your work to the fullest- it'll be rewarding, and have fun!

She is a great teacher. She is sometimes hard to understand but you can get the jist of it. She is a very easy grader and not a lot of work. It might seem like a lot in the beginning but it really isn't. All you need to do is go to class and you got an A.

Makes you read 2 chapters a week and complete reflections on chapters. Lots of busy work, made few portfolio pieces. She has you complete 6 classroom obsevations and make it into a case study and present it to class. You are stuck with her for 332/333.

Really nice as a person, but that's not why I took her class. She didn't read our lesson plans or our teaching philosophy paper. I don't know how she determined our grades. I think she decided if she liked you and graded that. Very unprofessional.

She is trying really hard to do a good job, first year at GVSU. Can be hard to understand with accent. Beginning of semester she was rushing and gave lots of papers/reading at the end she slowed the pace down.
