Taking her public speaking class was a great decision. You'll really get a lot out of it. I'm a pretty shy person, but I ended up with an A in the course. She told me near the end of the semester that it was almost like i've been doing public speaking all my life, which really meant a lot to me. WARNING: she requires 10 hours of community service.

Excellent. She is a fantastic teacher; really teaches you what you NEED to know to be a good public speaker. Some dislike her, but hey that's with everyone. Other public speaking courses are a joke, but her's is the real deal if you want to learn; which I did. Not an easy A, that's for sure, but you're walking out of there prepared.

She isn't a bad teacher, but REQUIRES 10 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE. There is a serious academic collateral if you don't do this. She also is rarely clear about what needs to be done for each speech! But props to her for being at least 80 and running the Boston Marathon yearly.

She is a tough teacher but if you apply yourself and do the work you will be okay. Her speech assignments are hard but take time and practice before you post to make sure you have it right. You do need to work in this class and stay up to date with the deadlines. If you can do that then you should be okay to take this one online.

I took public speaking with her and I loved it. Yes, she's a little tough. Yes, she makes bad jokes. But her class is so helpful! I feel like I am actually prepared in the public speaking sense. She's always available if you need extra help, and she's very flexible if you need to change something. I'd take more classes with her.

I would not recommend this teacher. She is very helpful when you have a question but way too nitpicky when it comes who what she is looking for in speeches (as if she already expects you to be a good public speaker). If you can take another teacher and definitely do not take this class online if you can avoid it.

Horrible teacher. Not enough room to go into how useless she was on this site. Didn't learn anything new because it was so basic and seemed to be punished for already knowing what she was teaching. Wouldn't recommend her to someone I hated.

Doesn't accommodate for social phobias. Sweet lady. Thinks her jokes are funny which is usually more amusing than the joke, but she warns you ahead of time that she knows it isn't funny. Everything you read in the book (or don't read) is covered in class on a power point, so I was bored until I stopped reading and waited to take noted in class.

Had her for English Comp 2 and Short Story Hybrid She made me want to read more after i was done...i still read from the short story lit book in spare time...Great stories, some of sexual nature Very funny and energetic woman. Loves to have fun with reading. Must read to do well. Hybred class with her is fun!

BI-YATCH. she said that she'd treat the class like adults, but the way she talked to us was very degrading. talks about her divorce, and other things that we don't care about. she makes horrible jokes, and makes people feel awkward. definitely plays favorites, and picks on others. booo.
