Awful professor. I did not learn anything useful in this class. I wish I would have used my university credits taking a class that made me more knowledgeable on relevant information. She did not order textbooks for our class. She was easy, but its a waste of a class and she repeats whole lectures. Very boring. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!

Comment:

The sweetest, most genuine, and funny person ever- like the grandmother I never had. Sit near the front to be able to hear her- she is soft spoken. Gave us days off as "gifts" and tests were very fair! I loved her and would take class from here again in a heartbeat.

Have to say, SHE IS AN ANGEL OF GPA! She makes the class very easy, and gives you extra work to do if you need to make up your grade. Latin is boring but she tries her best to raise your attention. No homework usually, and never need to worry about the midterms(they are absolutly easy to get over 90%). Take Latin 101!

I couldn't have gotten luckier to have her as a prof! She made my life so easy for English 111! I can honestly say I didn't attend class often, read any of the required material, or listened to her lectures but yet I managed to pull out an A! She is a really nice lady but I really didn't learn anything.. LOTS of inclass essays!

We were given a list of pre-approved topics for our research essay due at the end of the term. After I handed mine in she actually said that the topic I chose was unacceptable even though she gave it to me. She likes to argue with the textbook which she assigns and doesn't appear to have actually read it herself. Very convoluted lectures. Ugh.

I can honestly say that I strongly believe that I can learn nothing from this woman. Her lectures are repetitive and often completely irrelevant to the course. Don't get me wrong, really nice lady, she just doesn't know what she is doing.

She's a nice person and everything but she constantly forgets things, from marking our assignments to telling the same stories over and over and over again. She never even handed back a heavily weighted assignment. She also seems to pull marks out of a hat. Beware of her forgetfullness, she just might forget to add up all of your marks properly....

Prof. Drummond is by far one of my favourites at the U. She filled in for another prof for our 2nd term out of the 2, and I'm so glad she did. She made the class so much more interesting and gave generous extensions on all assignments, as long as you asked or had a valid excuse. She was eager to help and so nice about it. DEF. my fave! EASY A!

Prof. Drummond repeatedly tells the story when she almost cut the palm of her hand in half. Also, she forgetfully assigns the same reading towards the end of term, when you've done it within the first 2 weeks of the course. Prof Drummond truly does not demonstrate a university level of teaching one would expects.

Such a sweet lady. Loves her students as much as she loves her cats (and I mean that in a nice way). She's prone to saying things like "you just screwed that one up" or "come see me to get help" or "you just need to work at it" when handing back quizzes and tests to students with lower marks. lol.

Professor Drummond is the sweetest lady in the world :) She is very understanding and motivated me to pursue my studies in Latin. She is always ready to help despite the fact that some students are forced to take Latin and are not too enthusiastic about it. I would recommend anyone to take Latin with Professor Drummond.

An incredibly kind woman, and he tests are very easy. (If you forget a word, for example, just ASK HER - even during a test!) It is not hard to get an "A" and it is an easy-going class. Use the text book a lot because she has a tendency to reply upon it instead of giving her own explanations.

She's an incredibly endearing woman, so it's hard to say anything negative about her. Classes are very easy, and she will always help you out when you need it. But if you want to really learn Latin, I would not reccomend her. It's courses like hers that make people think artsy-farsty BAs are easy.

Very nice lady but if she tells you that you can get extra credit for an essay DON'T do it. She won't give you marks for it and refuses to discuss it with you after the fact. Took forever get marks and assignments back. An easy class but difficult prof to talk to about problems.
