Pro. Vacco is a smart guy who simply just can't teach. Difficult to follow, talks fasts and goes off topic. Never follows the syllabus and barely covers the book. Jumps from case to case while talking about one case he will interrupt his sentence and name another case. If the book doesn't help you understand the course get a supplement!

Vacco is great. Business Planning is a fun and interesting class to fufill the writing requirement. Requires only a paper and class presentation. Highly recommend.

Anyone who rags on Prof. Vacco clearly didn't bother to go to class. The guy knows what he's talking about and if you don't understand something, just ask, because he'll be happy to talk you through it until you get it. Nice guy. Smart guy. That's all you need to know.

Professor Vacco is the worst professor I've had. He missed more than half the classes and his syllabus was incomprehensible(no dates). He is everything that is wrong with the tenure system. He grades "subjectively" so you don't question his judgement. Write as little as possible on his exam as he is lazy and doesn't want to read them.

Prof. Vacco knows his stuff and teaches the real world/practical aspects of business and corporate law. If you don't take this class you are definately missing out and anyone who has taken it will agree with me.

Vacco is a great professor. If you go to class you will enjoy it and learn the material. If you inclined to miss a class or ten, you can also do well without going to class by cramming the outline. Best of both worlds, and an extremely nice, perso nable, easy going professor.

Vacco is not bad. Most of the negative comments are probably from liberal arts majors who know nothing about Corp Law. Coming from a business background, I appreciated Vacco's class..the guy knows his stuff. Only negative: he goes fast through material sometimes..but he spends the last two weeks of class reviewing for the exam!!

He makes the case against the tenure system. Worst teacher I've ever had. He doesn't know or understand corp law, nor does he care about teaching it. To the extent that he is a corp law professor, the man is an embarassment to Suffolk and all its alums. To be frank, I think he is a major reason why Suffolk alumns have to work twice as hard as Harv., BC, and BU grads to get plum jobs in corp law...

Professor Vacco, though a nice man, is a left over vestige from the days when Suffolk was not a reputable law school. Times have changed, he has not. He does not know corp law, his course lectures are decades too old. His presence at Suffolk, I think, hurts the quality of all our degrees & I believe he should be fired for incompetence. And I personally like him.

THE WORST PROFESSOR AT SUFFLOK. DO NOT TAKE HIS CORPORATIONS CLASS!! You will learn nothing. He does not teach the material that should be in this class and uses a textbook from the dark ages. He talks about securities forever and ignores corporations for most of the class. He doesn't take the class seriously either.

Lectures are difficult to follow. The text we used was from 1987 so it too did not offer any lucidity. He seems to be a pretty good guy though, unfortunately you won't get much out of this $8000+ course.

"Wacko" Vacco is like your grandfather, but if you let his great attitude get in the way of the material, you're going to bomb the exam. However, he'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
