Comment:

Engler is a super nice guy. The public interest seminar is all discussion based. He assigns a lot of reading but just so you can participate in the discussion. Participation is everything with him!! Skim the reading, contribute a little and you're golden. He gives a lot of feedback on the rough draft of the final so actually take advantage of that

He is an okay professor but will NOT help you if you come across a problem in a clinic. You could get lucky and get a great clinic. But if you're stuck in a nightmare, be prepared to stay there through the semester because this man is not going to get you out of it. -MK

Comment:

He knows his stuff and is amazingly helpful for everything--the class, career questions, references, etc. My only gripe is that he tried to cover too much material. But he is so knowledgeable and you could take the material your own way (it's a paper course) so not a major gripe. If you get the chance, take Engler for anything!
