Classy old school, super smart, and funny teacher. Erudite teachers like Mr. Callahan are becoming rare. Enjoy his lectures while you can.

His cold-calling method is intimidating for a 1L. However, as the semester progressed I really enjoyed this course. I was terrified for the final but he provides reviews for each unit covered which includes all the information he wants you to know. The last class is an outline of everything you need to study for the exam. Clear, and no surprises.

Disorganized. Doesn't even get through half of the required material. Goes off on irrelevant tangents. You will not learn Con. Law with Prof. Callahan.

Terrible. No structure. Very hard to predict how you are doing because his classes are so relaxed. Felt like he walks into class from the boston common where he prolly sits and talks to pigeons all day. for +60k a year, more structure would be appreciated. didnt even cover all of the ammendments. avoid if you have a serious interest in con law.

Very helpful in every aspect: gives printed course reviews which make studying clear and efficient; gives enlightening personal consultations; and is a nice person to talk to. His instruction is easy to understand and engages the listener. The course is a good experience overall, without unpleasant surprises during and after the exam.

Great guy, but he is all over the road sometimes. I recommend supplementing the class with a commercial outline, and make sure you keep up with mpc/cl differences, because he never addresses the distinctions, and then expects you to know it for the exam. Exam was straight forward, and grading was generous.

Practical, engaging, thorough, conversational, fun! Learned a ton. Prepare well for class so that you can really engage in conversation with him if called on. Review his weekly posted notes on BB. Outline your exam response before writing it out, follow the IRAC format, be detailed, you cannot lose! Soooo approachable!

He's very funny but I found him incredibly confusing. He does give out periodic summaries on topics but they don't give a lot of clarity. I came out of the exam thinking I didn much better than I actually did. I still don't know what he wanted from us.

Great prof. He might seem a little disorganized at times, but is generally great with the material. He wants student responses in a certain way--explain the issue (use the term "whether") and gets agnry if students can't answer the questions (a bit funny to watch). he also insists on IRAC for tests, though is very helpful if you want it. Good Class

He appears very disorganized at first (and well, he is very disorganized), however, once you get used to his teaching style, he is quite informative. Only complaints: ALWAYS loses roster and calls on same 4 people over and over, and ALWAYS gets grades in late. Overall a very fair teacher and a smart man.

A little unclear about what he wants in class, but by the end it all clicks. The reviews he gives out are the key to the class. Nice guy overall. Approachable. Funny. Laid back. Good class. Exam was fair, though not easy.
