Rude, hard to understand, and flat out told us he didn't know how to teach math 113 (now 1200). All but two failed the course because he refused to slow down, assist, or repeat.

Also, prof. Jain seems unable to help lower levels of math understand his teaching and methods. Although he may be a decent UPPER LEVEL teacher, he is a VERY POOR lower level professor. He gave me a hard time about making up a quiz after i had missed it due to a DEATH at home. He is VERY unaccomadating.

Prof. Jain was of no help during the course. Countless members of the course are failing, and he is not willing to assist in any way. He does not prepare the class for any of the tests- the material on them was far more difficult than that of the homework or class.

WORST PROF EVER! he's intimidating and makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. He moves faster than all the other professors so when you go to SI everyone else is behind so its difficult to get help. He is terrible!

I wanted to shoot myself the first couple weeks, but i'm so happy that i stuck with it. Definenly attend S.I. if you aren't getting the hang out of, but he will answer any homework problem you have trouble with. Tests are taken from homework. I love him now that its the end of the quarter. Basically told us the Final, TAKE HIM and work hard for it

Dr. Jain is a very helpful professor, and also very enthusiastic about what he teaches. He makes sure everyone in class understands what he's talking about and is good with eye contact and all that business.

This guy is effin awsome. yea the first two weeks you kick yourself for taking it cause you cant understand him. but after that. its easy. he is ready to answer any questio and he is a fun teacher to have. I would reccommend him to anyone. he actually wants to help w/ any question even if its dumb. he will make you understand it. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

He will seem unhelpful at first, but if you prove to him you really know what you are doing and you just aren't understanding certain things he will really try to help you. He isn't going to just give you answers tho. LEcturing is a lil scary at first.
