Comment:
Dr. Charron is just wonderful. He made every class enjoyable and worthwhile, despite very difficult and abstruse course material. The man can make Immanuel Kant both crystal clear and, somehow, interesting. I would recommend one of his courses to anyone at SLU.

I LOVE DR. CHARRON! he is a genius and his lectures are well prepared as well as clear. His tests are very difficult, but if you study and do the homework, you will do well. Attendance is not mandatory but everyone comes to hear his stories and random poetry recitations! His classes are some of the most enjoyable ive taken in my LIFE!

I've taken Dr. Charron for logic and game theory. He has been my favorite professor here at SLU. Attendance isn't mandatory, but most people show up because his lectures are so engaging and open for student questions and even debate. Tests accurately reflect what is taught, but be warned: they are not easy. He demands a lot from his students.

Doc is the best teacher I've ever had. Hard class, but he's always willing to talk and help, and by the end you know the information far better than you ever could have thought. Tests challenge you, but not impossible. He gives you questions before the test to direct your studying. Hilarious man, real dry wit. Very kind and respectable.

This guy has been teaching since the late 60's early 70's. He has a true knowledge of his field. He is also quite fun with his jokes sometimes. He likes to tell funny stories - like the history of the ballpoint pen (one time I beleive it was). His classes are challenging. He does 3 exams..each 33 percent of your grade. Not easy if u do not work.

He's old-school, and so, is a rather tough professor. The class is hard, but not impossibly so. You'll learn a heck of alot in it. He's willing to work with students and help them if they need it. He's a very nice guy.

He is indeed a great professor, however dry. Funny stories (funny in an awkward way). Knows his stuff, and you'll get a lot out of the class. Studied pretty hard and didn't always prepare for class, got a B+. If your parents or siblings had him, he will know. QED

Tough class but worth it. He teaches old school, though. If you need your hand held, don't take it.

this professor is crazy as a fox's nutsack. taking this class is like chasing a class of chocolate stained six year olds around a chinese restaurant. i would rather squirt mesquite duck sauce in my eyes than sit through this insanity

Dr Charron is one of the best faculty members I've had in the course of pursuing several degrees. He's also the hardest -- but I guarantee you will learn what you came to learn.

EXTREMELY difficult teacher (everyone I talked to either dropped or considered dropping,) gave misleadingly easy examples in class while giving impossible questions on tests. He seemed like a nice guy, but alas, too tough and should be avoided.

Very smart, tough grader. But you will learn a whole lot. He explicates arguments very clearly, takes questions, etc. Great teacher, definitely recommended for those who come to learn, not to get a grade.
