Comment:
Professor McAdams is the bomb. No tests, just a few papers that are not too difficult to write if you've read the assigned readings. Sometimes the lectures were a little hard to follow, but McAdams was always more than willing to meet with students outside of class.

some ppl really like him but I did not. I thought his lectures were all over the place and they were hard to follow and I found his class boring. No tests only essays, which makes it a relatively easy class if you do the readings. Lectures are mostly useless, you're better off just doing the readings on your own.

Very passionate about world politics, as well as interested in his students. Assigns a lot of readings but gives very in-depth lectures and is very accessible outside of class. I recommend his Intro to World Politics class to anyone interested in politics.

Took POLS- Intro to Comparative Politics. Get prepared to do a lot of reading. There are discussions every week. He lectures for twice a week so make sure to take good notes. Will most likely discuss topics such as political ideologies.

Didn't really teach us anything. I took his University Seminar, and the entire class consisted of him assigning us readings, and then he would make us discuss it by ourselves. He didn't ever just teach us about social science.

Fantastic professor. Really knows what genuine learning is, and has a wide breadth of experiences travelling the world that he incorporates into his lectures. Very eccentric and very personable.
