I believe I learned everything basic and essential that everyone should come away knowing about U.S. History from this teacher's class. I enjoyed her lectures which were never boring. I especially thought the textbooks she chose for the class were extrememly well written, insightful, relevant to her class, and highly useful for test preparation.

The started out huge and ended super small. She is really fun to listen to but the timeline is hard to follow. Her tests aren't hard just make sure to review the sheet she passes out. I never read a thing and I did alright.

She is boring, doesn't know how to teach, not helpful, and can be rude at times ( I don't think she's aware of it). However if you want an EASY A then take her. I barely attended class, never read the book, and got an A. Just do her study guide questions and memorize them, do all extra credit, the two papers, and you'll get an A. Easy grader too

This class is TOO easy. she just sign in and leave cuz her lectures are pointless i didnt read study or pay attention but studied the study guides and got Bs on all my test. theres no HW nor do you turn in classwork and lots of extra credit and two open book test which are just identifying names in the glossary LAME class

One of the best lecturers I've ever had. I usually don't like history, but this was my favorite class this semester. She can make a past decade come alive about the way regular people lived back then. She gives you study guides for the exams. She's agenda-free and grades fairly. The only con was the oral presentation requirement.

The class is not very interesting but an easy class to pass! She is a very nice teacher and knows her stuff. The quizzes and test were pretty easy, and she gives a lot of extra credit. No homework. If you miss a day or two don't worry you didnt miss anything important. Very easy compared to any history class I have ever taken Take this class!

Lecture was pretty interesting. But this instructor has serious responsibility & moral issue. She forgot to grade one of my papers and never admit her fault even though it was so obvious. Because of her lack of responsibility and laziness, I got a wrong grade. Be careful.

She knows her stuff, and her class isn't as boring as some philosophy classes. She gets the class involved a lot. Still, she can lecture for very long periods of time, and it gets old fast. Her tests aren't that hard, but you do have to pay attention.

I'm a faculty member in a non-LAS department, at another college. I took this class for my own interest. Obviously it was easy for me. This instructor is knowledgeable, relatively non-political, and clear. Has special understanding of "how did they live" in the era. Was definitely worth it. Could give quizzes, so study daily.

She did lecture everyday and the whole class is just about listening to her. But she talks about the history like if she was actually there and for me, that made it easier and more interesting to listen to. I definetly enjoyed this class and i recommended.

Easy class with a lot of extra credit, takes attendance but doesn't count it on the grades, tests are kinda hard, and she is a poor grader, sometimes she has the same answers but gives one person more points than the others. Easiest history class at WV, strongly recommended.

So freakin boring. this class will only intrest you if you are a history buff. every single day is a lecture for 90min. lots of extra credit, thank god. i was lost in the class everyday. just boring.

I liked Ms. Watson a lot and felt like I really learned a lot from her class. She was interesting and very enthuiastic in her teaching, plus her tests were fair and her study questions very helpful.
