Very helpful - if you don't understand something right away just email her or talk to her and she will clarify. Assignments weren't really graded (just completion grades) for the most part. However ive heard that lower level classes are a bit more difficult ( not terrible though) so keep that in mind (202 isn't as much of a walk in the park)

Dr. Rusterholz is a great professor! I've had her for 3 classes (FRE 303, 304,and 305) and she's always so helpful and really cares about the students. She is very accommodating and is flexible about meeting with you outside of class. She uses a variety of sources for learning&is a very reasonable& thorough grader&helps improve your french skills

She's the best French professor I've ever had! Even though I wasn't a full-time college student, she took me under her wing and made sure that everything was going okay. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to study a foreign language.

She is easily the best language prof I've ever had. She's incredibly clear and happily answers any question you have. She's a fairly easy grader. She really marks up any paper you turn in, but even a paper that has multiple corrections on each line will only have a few points taken off. She's also a kind and understanding person. Lots of fun!

What happened, Barb!? I've been in lots of french classes with this lady and she was always my favorite prof of all time, and now... her class is my LEAST favorite. I hate it. Love her! Dr. Rusterholz is the best French prof I've ever had. She also helped me w/ an independent study project. She's such a great teacher and so warm and kind. It's very exciting to be in class with her. Great sense of humor too. You'll learn easily and enjoy it too.

I love Barbara. Although sometimes she is a little overzealous, it's really cool to see someone SO excited to see her students learn. When I graduate from UW L she is getting a big hug from me. Take her over Poulton ANY DAY!!!

You have to be handicape dans la tete if you don't like Dr. R. She is organized, helpful, and obviously cares about her students. She tries everything to make sure we understand. Take her over Poulton!!! The only thing I don't like is her use of Landry... nice man, but weird and cannot teach!

What's nice about Dr. R is that she makes sure you know what you're doing before giving you assignments on it- very thourough. On top of that I feel completely comforable in her class and I'm not scared to make mistakes... she corrects them in the nicest way possible!
