Kroll is very interested in his field. He really loves talking about history. But the class was boring for me. He hands out worksheets that help your grade. His study guides are SO helpful so make sure your there when he announces the questions. Overall an easy class and great professor.

Dr. Kroll is an outstanding history professor! Very systematic teaching methods, informative and knows how to tell a story. Some of his lectures can be boring at times but he gives some interesting info for the class. There isn't much homework involved but numerous note-taking and he tells you what to study for on his exams. Enjoyed it a lot.

Great Teacher, Learned more about history in this class then any other. Easy A as long as you take the notes, lets you know exactly whats going to be on the tests. A little Boring at times, otherwise best possible choice for a history class.

TONS of note taking. Gives a lecture and when he comes across something that will be on the test he'll write it down on the board. Very intelligent man. Definitely learn a lot from him, and very easy. HIGHLY recommend him.

i didnt like nor did i know much history till i had dr. Kroll. he's very intellegent man and knows his history. his exams are easy. his class is based off his lectures. theres no note taking, you just have to listen and write down pretty much everything he says and what he mentions is important to know for an exam. i recommend him! he's great!

This is not a very interesting class, but it's a requirement at least for CSU transfers. The professor explains everything in a lot of detail. You can tell he enjoys his job. The tests a easy as long as you study the guide he gives you. He gives worksheets for you to complete every once in a while, which are very easy. Good class, just boring.
