The workload he provides can be a bit overwhelming at times. Through discussions boards he can also indirectly come off as insensitive to peoples personal opinions on touchy subjects. Overall the class was interesting, and wasn't too difficult. If you're a person that likes to write mini papers (usually on interesting topics) take his class.

Professor Mack is very good. Who ever complains is just lazy. He is not hard at all. Discussion boards are easy, essays are seriously easy just summarize (but follow his instructions because he does take points off). Overall very easy and final is 4 page paper very easy. Easy class.

His a great professor. I dont understand why students are complaining. He tells you from the first day, what he is expecting from you. If you follow his syllabus. You will pass his class. You have to study for his midterm and final. But its not hard at all. Overall great professor. Take him you will pass and learn in his class.

I took him last semester he is a good professor. I read the test somewhat. If you take really good notes on the day he does the review you will pass. He gave 2 exams, about 3 or 4 short writing assignment, and a 4-page paper. He is a great professor

Great professor. Hes very professional and organized. You must read your text book and study all your notes or you won't pass. If your looking into being lazy dont take his class because with that attitude you will not pass any other class as well.

People are absurd in this comment section. The final/midterm are most of your grade and he literally gives you all the answers during the review. Took him twice. Wonderful guy; lots of experience w/ NYPD. Please participate, he tries to have fun and joke with the students. Read; you'll learn; its an easy A. Gives Extra Credit. Hw is 1pg per chap.

He is a decent person. However, his feedback on your homework assignments is terrible. He cares a lot about grammar and spelling, yet his own spelling is abysmal. Also he teaches out of the book which makes the lessons really dry and boring. Just make sure you attend the review before the midterm and the final and you'll pass easily. Good luck!

I would not take this professor again. I get a mediocre grade despite I have done all of my assignments. Quiz and midterm wasn't that hot; not a test taker at all. Beware of a final paper!

I did not learn anything I am usually an A student but The entire class received an INC when grades were due. I emailed him several times to find out why I got an INC since I handed everything in but never got a response. Eventually my grade was changed to a C+ about a week later (still no response)..DO NOT TAKE CLASS unless u want to ruin your GPA

Very informative and smart, has alot of experience in his field;just not in teachin, u can easily wander in lala land and still keep up(in listenin) no textbooks just reading and essays, tho always with low grades, and very long classes almost 4 hours for one day!!!

I enjoyed his class, when he showed up, but he graded very unfairly. I did all required work was always in class and received a low grade. (usually an A student) He offered a poor explanation for the grade and refused to consider reevaluating. Stubborn and inconsiderate.

Mack is a very good professor. There are no textbooks or tests. Just a final research paper. He engages in very interesting conversations but sometimes goes off in tangents. He is never boring though and you will never fall asleep in his class. He also may be absent often but that could be a good thing. Put some effort and you'll do well.
