Beal is downright scary. Enjoys picking on students (mostly who deserve it). If you can get past that, the man knows his stuff and is enthusiastic to share it with those willing to learn. *note to students new to Beal* killing green crabs=brownie points.

Nice guy, though at times can be a bit harsh on the students. Labs were nice, very hands on and he made it easy to learn the species names. (PLUS he is a Red Sox fan!!)
