Comment:
Rude and emotional outbursts. I believe that she either has issues at home or work because she brings them to class and takes it out on students.

She is better than Melinda Hoskins who teaches the maternal portion of the course. She always has Power Point for her lectures and her tests are VERY long (kind of hard). She's sarcastic in a weird way. When you ask her a question she makes u feel dumb during the response. She favors certain students by giving them more time and attention.

Pam was very willing to work with us. She doesn't believe in "busy work," and that is going to be very important when you're already worried about getting things straight in clinical! Very cool lady

For an online course there was a lot of information, but not hard if you keep up with the work. She gives you so much extra credit opportunity on her quizes and test...there's no way you won't end up with an A or at least a B.

Comment:
This class was a pain. The math was confusing because the problems were worded in a way to try and trick you. The terminology was OK, but sometimes she would only vary the definitions by a one-word difference, so make sure you know what the term is really well. Also, be prepared to take the full 3 hours on exams. This shouldnt be an online course.

This class was on-line and only met once. Quizzes are weekly testing math and terminology. The math can be a bit confusing and you must learn it on your own. Pay close attention to what you are doing there is no room for error. Don't wait last minute to post discusssion if you do 4 out of 5 you get no points (all or nothing). Overall a good class.

Normally does not teach this course. Filled in for a professor on leave. Somewhat arbitrary in style. Reasonable in one-on-one. Very difficult course (material). Requires intense study. GET THE STUDY GUIDE FOR THE TEXT!!!

Web-based med term and dosage course. All tests on-line. Good way to ensure incoming students prepared to hit the deck running. Pam keeps Chat rooms and on-line Discussions motivated. Good course (altho I prefer classroom).

The times I've gone into her office, she is in a bad mood and not much eye contact. Made me feel like I had to hurry up because I was a bother. She can get vocal (in a too direct of a way).
