I took Diane's Social Psychology class and loved it! She gives great feedback that really inspires. I loved the textbook we used as well. It's easy to get an A as long as you read the book, study, and participate in the assignments. Definitely recommend her class!

I took her for my Psych 1A class, and she's amazing. She always gives great feedback, and I could finish a week of class in 4 hours. I learned so much, and this class made me want to be a Psych major. Very easy A if you engage in course material. Highly recommend!

Professor Welch is an excellent instructor. Her classes are engaging and you will come to find that even if you are an introvert, this class will teach you techniques to come out of your shell so you can participate more and learn valuable tools and skills to help others do the same. She is professional, funny, educated, and real!

I took her for English 1A and Psych 15 and I absolutely loved her. She always gives great feedback. Participation does matter and she is super understanding. Her class set up is the same so you know what is expected from you each week. She is very organized and she runs her modules the same for each week which includes Discussion, Disscussin, quiz.

Diane was absolutely wonderful. Her feedback was inspirational. She is very positive even when you make mistakes. I would definitely take her again!

Mrs. Welch is a great teacher! She really keeps you engaged by relating the materiel that youare studying to real life experiences. She was sure to emphasize in the beginning of class that you do not have to share anything that you are not comfortable sharing. The class is very informative and interesting. I would recommend it for anyone! 5 star

She forces you to share extremely personal information even if you don't want to. Her examples are always the most extreme examples possible. Just wait for her examples of kids drawings, she asked a kid to draw a tree, the kid drew a stick tree. She then believed that the child was dead inside because the tree was dead. Easy class, but so stupid.

Comment:

Diana Welch is a wonderful teacher. She is funny and gives enjoyable lectures. Her notes and assignments are very clear. Not a lot of h/w but you do need to read the book! You may bring lots of notes to the test. The assignments are easy and the class is FUN! Don't skip class or you will miss a lot! I've taken 2 of her classes, wish she had more!

Easier grader, notes allowed for tests, be prepared to share personal life experiences. Would recommend for anyone, I would take it again in a heart beat.

This class is an easy A, but also very interesting. Conducts her class in a circle. If you're not afraid to open up and talk about personal things in class, this is a good fit for you. Two in-class tests, one group test, and one take home test. A few response papers. Also, 20 minute presentation at the end of the semester.

Great teacher, she takes her class very seriously. If you miss one or two classes it will not be a big deal, but she took roll for most of the semester which counts toward the grade. You'll do well if you take it seriously.

Professor Welch is a great teacher. I highly recommend her. There are few class assignments - five two-page essays relating content to yourself, tests after every two or three chapters, and a fifteen minute presentation at the end of the semester. She offers some extra credit. Don't show up to class late or she'll stop and stare at you!

She was amazing! I definitely looked forward to going to class every single day, and I normally don't. She was very knowledgable and held everyone's attention. The whole class becomes very close and sort of like a family. I highly recommend taking her classes she's great!!

Mrs Welch is AWESOME! She is in complete control of her class without being mean. She is understanding, compassionate and really listens to her students. The class is easy if you attend regularly and read your textbook. Other then reading you have 5 reaction papers. I recommend her class to everyone. Love her,she ROCKS!
