A interesting course which requires you to study/work hard. It is an anatomy course so there is a fair amount of reading and some writing assignments. Dr. Meinhardt gives a lot of great feedback on the assignments to help you improve and has really interesting lectures and drawings of his own that makes the content interesting. Great professor!

Dr. Meinhardt makes the class interesting with examples along the way. He brings in skeleton models which are great to see up close. As long as you take the course seriously and study/attend class you should do well! He wants his students to succeed and is very approachable if you have any questions about content or exams!

Dr. Meinhardt doesnt make the class easy, but it is interesting for a Bio major. He ties in Evolutionary Biology, his own art and publishings and so much more to this class. He is beyond caring for his students, he wants them to succeed. If you arent lazy this class is not that difficult.

Dan is one of the best professors. He tries his best to make sure the students understand what is teaching as long as you ask him to clarify. He always makes time to meet with students outside of class and will help with whatever he can. He is approachable and tried to engage students even when things get boring. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

He was my biology seminar professor and, while the class itself is almost pointless, he is a good professor and knows how to get the class talking during discussion. Just show up, talk about the discussion paper, and you're golden.

There are only three exams in the entire lecture, so you must make sure you do well. I personally thought the exams were very detailed and somewhat difficult. Meinhardt is a funny guy, however, and a good lecturer. Make sure you go to every lecture and study hard.

He is a fantastic professor. When I didn't do well on an exam, he went over it with me during his office hours and even made time for a second meeting because he felt that I deserved more time to go over things.

He's one of the best professors I've had. It's a pretty difficult class. Lab is the hardest. He's willing to help in anyway he can, he gives fair tests and he's funny. When he knows the class is struggling with a concept, he'll take a break and tell a related story. He's very passionate about the subject and is willing to answer all questions.

This class was surprisingly easier than I thought it was going to be. He posts objectives for each chapter on D2L and as long as you actually do the objectives as you go, you won't have any problems at all with the exams. He really seems to love the subject and typically has stories to tell associated with the topic. Great professor!

Extremely difficult class! Do not take with anything else that may require a lot of your time. Spent many 6-9 hour days in the library to earn just a C. It should be called Memorization 204 instead. But Dan is an awesome guy though, really laid-back and very approachable. Good teacher also. I would recommend him to anyone taking Anat and Phys.

Everything you need to know is on the power points. Nice and approachable guy, but his lectures were pretty boring generally. Teaches you what you need to know for the exams and not much more. Did not need the textbook at all but it is cheap so not a big issue.

Meinhardt is the best professor I've had. Very open to helping students. Really wants to make sure you understand the material. Quizzes and exams are fair, everything is covered in class. Keep up with learning goals, ask questions, and you will do well. Don't really use the book.

Meinhardt is a GREAT professor! He provides powerpoint notes, but also provides real life situations to the class material. He is very easy to understand and lets you know what exactly is expected on the exams. Human Bio can be a diffucult class, but Meinhardt makes it so much easier to understand. Stronly recommend!

Easy GenEd. Quizes are simple. Drops the lowest exam grade...so do good on the first three and no final! Notes, study guide, exam. EASY stuff. Nothing more than HS bio info covered really. I thought it was an easy A. Showing up really helps. Funny guy at times (right?).

I have no interest in any sort of science class & I hate them, which is why I did terrible in intro to human bio. This class with any professor is harder than it needs to be for non-science majors! Tests are difficult. His lectures are pointless, boring, & don't make sense.I did manage to pass with a CD though. If I can pass, anyone can with effort

Ridiculously hard for an intro course that's required for the GER. The test are much more difficult than they need to be. I'm not interested in being a doctor. The text book isn't needed. The lectures are boring. classes like these are what is irritating about having a GER at UWGB.

A good professor for human bio gen. ed. His lectures are interesting and he is good at teaching. Everything on the quizzes and exams are right off of the power point notes.
