His strength is clearly in philosophy but don't tell him you think it is a stupid subject. He is clearly stuck in the 60's. Smart=yes. Usefulness of material = 0.

Fed my philosophy jones. I sat in the back, still could hear him, but had to strain a bit. You have to want philosophy to take his class, be prepared to know your debating skills. Do the reading. Quizzes are on the reading. Not terribly hard if you like philosophy.

Monotone. Lisp. softspoken. snorts. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?! Completely ridiculous class. Quizzes are ridiculously hard. If you miss one class you drop a lot of your grade. not worth it at all --- even if you love art.

Extremely worthless class. Did not learn a thing, and nothing made any sense. If you like a class that argues about things that no one understands in the first place then he's your teacher!

Null is difficult - no doubt about it. He probably teaches at a grad school level. However, he knows what he's talking about - it's just trying to keep up that is difficult. If you'd like to prepare for the rigors of grad school, take a Null class and take his Mod Philo class...

Dr. Null is a clearly underrated professor. His classes are not for those people that are faint of heart. However, he sheds a very interesting and deep view upon the humanities via philosophical thought and reasoning, which is hard, but worth it.
