She will tell you that this is college not high school and yet will treat you worse then high school does. Locks the door, cannot go to the bathroom unless you have a doctors note. How mediocre, I mean who does that? This is college. No cellphone (obviously she wants to feel in control). Just sit in the back and let her have her glory for 2 hours.

I completed her class in 2008. I often uses her quotes. Because of her I went on to get my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services. Also became a alcohol and drug abuse counselor; CADC II. Thanks Professor Senna

Not only is Senna an incredible professor, her clinical experience is informative, and can help students clarify where they want to go with human services. She is compassionate, while still having a no-nonsense approach. Ask her about what it takes to work as a clinician if that's a possible path for you. If you can take a class with her, do it!

There has never been a better, more caring and ethical professor on all of the ARC campus. Truly a "personprofessional" in every sense. Leaves her own opinions, politics and profanity OUT of it and teaches relevant topics from the heart. She lives what she teaches with no hypocrisy. I will truly miss her classes when I leave ARC.

I loved Prof Senna. She inspired me. Her class is interesting and she is smart and funny. Wish I could take her classes again, but I had to transfer. If you are a psych major, definitely come to her office hours if you have any questions. She has 30+ yrs of experience in the field.

Great role model and Professor. Totally fair. Manages her classroom with professionalism and respect, and holds your attention, making her class enjoyable to participate in. This Professor gives out no homework, except to study your text book. She is GREAT!

LOVED this lass, and Prof. Senna! She's smart, funny, inspiring, and clear on what's required. You get to dump 1 of your test grades, there's not a lot of homework, and her lectures are very interesting. She doesn't like cell phones, or talking. She does like participation, and is available for any help. She's honest, and passionate about her job.

Professor Senna is amazing I had her for 3 classes already and the 4th in fall. She is very funny and truly cares about her students. Even if you are not enrolled in any of her classes you can still go and see her during her office hours. Best professor I had since I been going here since 2014.

Professor Senna is the ideal professor. She really cares for her students. She makes the lectures fun and keeps to her schedule. She is absolutely halarious. She has been an inspiration to everyone from quitting an addiction and giving tips on how to be healthy and live a long time. She gives 5 exams, drops the lowest. No extra credit, but no need.

Fantastic professor. Clear cut in expectations, She teaches in an awesome manner that makes pulls you into the lecture. Reading the text was fun if you are into Psychology and she welcomes you for office hours. She is tough but fair, exams weren't bad if you study and she provides great study guides that help you without holding your hand.

Senna is awesome! I don't know her on a super personal level like some of the other students in the class, but she does make an awesome job of getting your attention. I hate morning classes, but I enjoy going to her lectures. 4 exams, no final, and one page of notes for the exams. Her office hours are helpful if you choose to go. Great professor!

One of my favorite professors. Lectures are jam packed with useful and interesting information. Class participation is welcome and kept on track. Take notes. 4 exams and can trade 7 page paper for one exam. Gives good study guide and allows one 2-page sheet in exam. You will learn a lot if you listen. Will drop you at 3 absences.

I've had Professor Senna for 4 different classes. I am a Human Services major. Follow her syllabus, come to class ON time, be respectful to others, NO cell phones in class, and you won't have any problems. Attend an office hour. She's done this a long time and really knows her stuff. She has been an inspiration to me.

I'm a Human Services major and have taken her 3 times for different classes. I enjoy her and she is inspirational. Students either love her or don't like her. As long as you follow your syllabus, attend class and take notes, then you shouldn't have a problem in her class.
