He is honestly such a good teacher. If you ask him a question, he will explain it in detail. He'll go over slides. He goes slower if the class seems confused. He cracks jokes. Every morning he walks in and flicks on the lights as he says, "Good morning!" He is so interested in his field and is so passionate. Loved his class!!!

I will always remember Clymer's class with his introductory "MORNING!" It is a necessity to take notes in class - it will seriously help on the tests. I don't remember using the textbook that much, instead focusing on his lectures for exams. It does not have to be a difficult class, unless you make it one.

Good teacher makes the information interesting to learn. Didn't use the book once throughout the semester. The tests are somewhat difficult, you've really got to work for it.

This class was very, very difficult. The exams get harder as the semester goes on and I don't even know where some of the material came from. I read over the book and all of my notes and still had so much difficulty with this class. He is a nice but very intimidating guy. He will help you if you go to him but overall a very difficult class.

all you have to do is show up to class, copy the power points, study your notes participate, and you will do fine! i'm terrible in science but his class was straight forward and to the point. i'd recommend him to anyone, at least for the class i took, which was environmental science

Clymer was the bane of my existance. Never liked him, never will..Made me feel like an idiot until senior year when my GPA was a 3.9, then he decided to tell me he was proud of me..too little too late. I changed fields after graduation. Currently working on a doctorate in pharmacy, who's the idiot now? :)

all he does is read his powerpoints and wait for you to copy everything into your notes.. sad to say that he really doesn't actually teach. all you have to do to do well in this class is memorize memorize memorize.

He is a very genuine guy. he is boring at times but willing to help anyone if you just ask. Hard to get an A in his classes because he likes to challenge you, a B however is easy to pull off. Anyone should be able to get a b in his classes, but to get that A expect to work extra hard.

There is a big difference between a class being challenging and one being insanely difficult. If the class average is a 70 I think that is a warning sign to the teacher that something is going wrong. But hey its a non-sci. major class so who cares if the students are failing. AVOID!!!!!!!

tests are harder for non-science major courses then for science majors. i studied over 40 hours for a QUIZ and i got a 78, no matter how much you put into studying even going over the edge will not help your grade. avoid if you are a non-science major.

May not have been the most interesting class, but we all loved Dr. Clymer. He was easy, funny, very clear, and answered every last question even if it was completely off topic. His tests were few and easy. One of the best sci teachers I've ever had.
