she is too demanding,she needs to undrstand othr people work and choir concerts on random days and times tht actual class isnt in shouldnt be mandatory!she tries to treat the choir like chamber singers, how abaout putting good singers in it,not random kids that want to be in like some of the special kids tht cant sing.ittakes 3monthto learn 1 song.

I must say. I was interested in expanding my horizons with regards to music. I was feeling a little overwhelmed the first day. I was starting to feel like maybe I made a bad choice. However, Dina Humble just kept teaching and I kept listening. With her help and the hardwork I put into this class, it has been fun and I would recommend it to anyone!!

I have taken her class for two semesters now ana i am having the time of my life. thanks to dina my voice is developing because of her. she helps me every time i need help and gos out of her way to make sure i understand the music and what im doing. she is the best teacher ever and i am honored to be in her class and be taught by Dina Humble.

I was in her choir and VJ ensemble and it was a disaster. I love singing, but this class was more stressful than fun, and I dreaded going. We never got positive comments even when we did succeed in sounding ok, and she constantly belittled us to our faces. Will not join her class again.

DO NOT TAKE THE ONLINE CLASS!! DO NOT TAKE IT IN A SHORT SESSION!! DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ESSAYS!! There is a lot of writing for this class, and she is overly criticle of all submissions. This class was a total disaster. There was very little interaction with the teacher and her responses to emails seemed highly patronizing.

I took her onine class and found her to be very helpful. She responded quickly to all of my questions and went out of her way to assist me on the quizzes. She responded to my discussion postings and offered suggestions to improve my writing. I had to work hard though. Great online class and great teacher. Highly recommeded.

I took her class on summer, and I have to tell you it was the harder class I've ever taken in my life. It was Mus-19, and she wanted to go through th whole book, in the little amount of school days we had. The quizzes were "HARD"!!! Be careful if you don't have time to read or time to listen to music for hours!Not impossible to get an A..Good Luck

Great teacher! Her online Mus 19 class is extremely user friendly. Two essays, frequent quizzes and the exams are a sinch. If you're really interested in learning the history of Music and some of the aspect of theory, then you'll love the journey along side Dina Humble.

Dina is an excellent singer. But she can be mean and abrupt. If she likes you she is nice, but other wise being in her class sucks. I love to sing and I work hard, but I didn't want to with the way she treated people. She never did anything to me, but I saw what she did to others. You will learn from her, but it might not be a pleasent experience.

I am shocked by some of the negative comments. I am new to her vocal jazz group this year, and I have never encountered a more inspiring teacher. I have learned more than I thought I would and am enjoying myself to the point of disbelief. If you love jazz, and singing, you MUST sing for this professor! You'll be glad you did. She's awesome!
