She's disorganized, constantly rambles on. If anyone anyone ever criticizes her she just says "You're just not thinking outside the box." Things pop up that weren't on the syllabus and then she lies and says they were. Misses classes often. Plays favorites. She's often not prepared for what we're suppose to do in class that day. Doesnt seem to care

Elaine doesn't prepare for class, never brings any new information to the table, and is completely out of touch with modern feminism and current events. She doesn't use the internet, powerpoint notes, additional materials/handouts, or any information source other than the textbook and her own vague memories.

I did not enjoy class with Elaine as my professor. There is a lack of organization and assignments were made up as she thought of them. I only did 5 "assignments" for a capstone class and feel that it would have been taught better by another professor. I really thought I would have learned much more in this class.

I have now had Elaine for 2 classes and I have her for another one next semester. Her style of teaching is very different from other profs here. If you have a chance to take one of her classes do it! You will have a great opportunity to think outside the box! She is really amazing!

Elaine is a great prof! I do have to say that i was a bit unnerved by her style at first, but I realized she was pushing us to think outside the box and to challenge antiquated views on women in society. I truly loved Elaine and I think she is wonderful as a professor. Anyone would be LUCKY to have her! I miss you Elaine!
