Comment:

Class has no real structure but he is an easy A, as long as you don't miss a class you wont need to take the final. If you participate with the discussions you get full participation points. His quizzes are multiple choice but you need to know the definitions he gives you verbatim or you wont pass the tests.

Comment:

I took him for Sociology, aced all the assignments and participated a few times but am a super anxious person so it wasn't a great amount. In the end that bit my grade down by a whole letter, and I didn't want to have a disingenuous convo for the sake of points. I enjoyed his lectures, lots of passion in them. Overall fun class.

Comment:

One of the worst professors at Housatonic that I have come across. Told us we needed to have class participation. 15 points toward our final grade. Some ways we can earn those points, of course, participate in class, friend him on Facebook and interact or meet him outside in the designated smoking areas to talk with him. I have no nice words.

Comment:

The best professor to have for Sociology. Explains what you need to do in order to pass the class. If you show up to every class you don't have to take the final. If you participate, you would probably get a good grade in the class. There is no midterm in the class, instead there is another assignment and only one quiz you take.

Prof. Schissler is a very nice person, he has a good sense of humor, and very easy going. if you have perfect attendance you do not have to take the final which the exam he gives. which is great!

Very lazy teacher. My class got graded off of one quiz no chances to bring your grade up. If u miss a quiz you can always make it up but! He so lazy he doesn't want to give you the quiz so you never get to make it up to improve your grade. Also so lazy that he didn't give us final exam said he would email that and makeup quiz and never did.

This teacher was super easy. funny talks and you really have to participate to get a good grade, even if youre doing bad on the tests.. dont have to take final if you come every class.. this class i did not need to worry about. take this teacher!!! you get extra credit for little things.. etc

Not trying to be rude, but if you really want to learn sociology, take another class. However, if you want an easy A, show up, have perfect attendance, take the 1 test and participate. If you have perfect attendance, you don't have to take the final. However, you can always do extra credit on the day of the final, it's optional.

Such a great professor! Honestly take his class he gives such a good perspective on life, and he is really funny. Not much work at all either(which is a plus). If you attend every class you do not have to take the final!

Class was very easy. Professor is hilarious and lenient best class I've taken in my three years of college, very relaxed. If you show up every day to class you are exempt from the final. This class is an easy A !! Don't buy text book either he doesn't use it.

Henry is the nicest person on the planet but I would not recommend him to someone who would like to learn about human sexuality. If you're looking for a way to get a painfully easy A, take this class. It is so easy that it is actually boring which surprised me considering the topic at hand.

Henry is an all around great guy. He does have trouble staying on topic but don't worry, you'll get an A! He is always willing to give you extra-credit for academic advising too! Honestly, an easy A. 1 paper-like thing and the quizzes are a piece of cake.

Very easy teacher! He is amazing! very funny and always keeps the class alive. He is very laid back! Makes sure you understand the concept of sociology. Attend every class and you dont have to take a final! cool dude.
