This class was super easy to get an A in as long as you looked through the chapter outlines and read the chapter. Lu was always easy to reach if I ever had any questions.

Pretty good professor. Easy assignments, weekly quizzes that aren't too hard and two papers as the midterm and final. They are based on reading in the modules, and are not too bad. Easy grading criteria. Overall, nice class that isn't too much work and an easy A.

Pretty straight forward class with midterm, final, and quizzes. The exams are essay-based and you must put a lot of time/thought into it. I wish there would have been more interaction with the professor. Might take CRJ 419 with her next year.

Go for it,take her classes. She is clear about what is required, and there is not second guessing here. The book in necessary and her PDF notes are essential for quizzes. 1 quiz every Friday (1hr allotted, 1 try) as well as an assignment (unlimited time, multiple tries) and a midterm and final essay based on readings and book.

I had Dr. Lu for CRJ270 over the summer. 3 quizzes every week, and a final essay which is graded lightly. Class was very interesting in my opinion in the sense that it touched on subject outside CRJ like psychology. Professor always responded quickly to e-mails.

This had the opportunity to be a interesting class but the material wasn't thought provoking. It seemed to reiterate major CRJ ideas that are well known. The class is mainly 10 question quizzes and an essay for the final. The wording of the essay questions are confusing & he doesn't include enough info to answer the questions how he wanted.

AMAZING summer online class. There were 3 quizzes each week that were only 10 questions each (totally do-able). She even provides her own notes for each of the chapters as well as additional readings and interactive activities and videos. Final was an Essay Exam answering 2 questions with subparts which was not graded hard at all. 10/10 RECOMMENDED

The professor gives vague and confusing notes as well as quizzes (5 of them). Quizzes are 10 questions each so if you miss one question you're in trouble. The final is an essay exam that is confusing with a lot of questions that over lap so your answers look weird and redundant. Not horrible but I definitely didn't learn much.

Her lectures are so monotone and boring, I tuned out half the semester in this class. But if you want an easy A, take the class. You don't need the book, but you do have to go to class for points. Easy class activities each week, 5 one page papers, two exams, & a presentation. If you go to class and do the study guide for the exams should be okay.

Dr. Lu is an easy teacher. Took her online class and thought is was great. Weekly quizzes, article readings, notes, and videos. If you can't keep up with that you might just be lazy or have too much to do in your week and need to manage that. It took me 1.5 max to do assignments every week. I would most definitely take another one of her courses.
